Reynold’s Wrap Recipe Microwave Toffee

Reynold’s Wrap Recipe Microwave Toffee

I was going through the magazine clippings in my inherited 1985 cookbook and found a reynolds wrap holiday brochure with a few recipes.

Let me tell you, this recipe, is my favorite recipe when I need a sweet treat and only want to dirty a single dish. It’s quick, it’s easy, and it only needs the microwave.

I have already made it a few times this year and I often omit the nuts. It has the same crunch as the laborious peanut brittle my mother would make from scratch.

Streaming Sites and End Credit Scenes

I am so easily annoyed when trying to watch a show and the streaming site ruins it for the end credits scene.

It used to be a pain to sit through another ad break for only 2 minutes of content. Now? I get two seconds into the end credit scene before it cuts to the next episode. WHY!? Why is it set to auto-move onto the next episode before you get to watch the scene!? What fresh hell is this nonsense?

It’s not like these are new concepts for shows. Plenty of series have a post credit scenes for cute little callbacks but the timing has me seriously ticked off.

At least give me the option to turn off “auto-play” so I can watch all the content and make the switch when I am ready. What if I wanted to listen to the song they chose for the credits?

I wish technology would slow down and let me savor what I’m streaming.

Whisper of the House

Does anyone know when the port is actually coming to the Nintendo Switch? I have been waiting since March when they announced it would arrive in May. May 2026 - as in the month that just passed.

It’s now June 4th and in my searches thus far, I’m not finding any news on a release date for the switch. The e-shop still doesn’t have it listed.

Does anyone have any intel? I don’t care that they are taking longer to release it (especially given how tricky controls can be for ports like this) I just want to know long we all will be waiting.

Side question, does anyone know why the e-shop rarely has pre-order game options available? Most games that have a planned release on switch aren’t available to see in the store until it is ready to play in my experience unless it is a Nintendo owned title. Is their an approval process hindering cross platform pre-release orders?

Games with Calendar Blocking?

I am in love with stat raising games. It’s an obsession really.

I prefer the ones that let you schedule the day through activity blocking. You see it for games like Long Live the Queen or most otome dating sims with a calendar visual.

It’s a very simple gameplay loop I want. I want to manage my avatar’s needs and earn skills/stats through what I choose. I don’t want to actually make them do it. For example, if you click go to work, time snaps forward and your money increases.

It doesn’t need to have a goal, for example the Sims4 was my go to when I had a working PC.

Life of a Homebody on Steam scratches that itch but again, no PC currently.

I have a PS3, GameCube, Nintendo DS, Nintendo Switch, and an IPhone for gaming.

I have already played:
I Was a Teenage Exocolonist
Growing Up
Chinese Parents
My Child Lebanon / New Beginnings
Ciel Fledge
Roommates
YouTubers Life OMG
Echoes of the Plum Grove
Princess Maker Faery Tales Come True
Lair Land Story
Best Friend Forever
The Manga Works
Most Hanako Games

If anyone knows of a game that has this gameplay loop/mechanic I would be overjoyed.

Please share your recommendations!
