Don't ask for magick advice or spells or anything from anyone ever

I am so sick of people constantly posting online begging for help with magick or spells. I realize that most witches are isolated, alone, lonely, have no teachers or covens, that many books are confusing/wrong/poorly written/racist/sexist/fascist/stolen/written by Ai/cursed, etc. but thats NO REASON to not do the work yourself. And why rely on magick for everything? People are just lazy, wanting quick fixes. MUNDANE BEFORE MAGICK! Yes, you wont learn magick if you don't find ways to practice, but also, you shouldnt be doing magick, thinking about magick, posting about magick, or talking about magick. Maybe don't even talk about your problems. Or don't have problems to begin with. C'mon people, use your common sense. 🙏

Hope this helps 🔮✨️💜

Thinking of planting roses for the first time

What type of roses has the best smell? A beautiful rose is nice, but I really want something fragrant.

Witches should be cleansing more

Like, way more. Before rituals. After rituals. During rituals. You should be energetically cleansing yourelf, the room, the earth beneath you, even your mind should be cleansed. Listen, if you arent afraid of your own thoughts, starving yourself on a fruitarian diet, spritzing strangers in the face with moon water, chewing raw dandelion roots like a rabbit with brain fever, and walking around with tissue boxes on your feet, are you even a real witch?? I think not. But that's just my unpopular opinion. No one is *ready* to hear this, I suspect.

Have a very merry Garlic Plantimg Day to all who celebrate!

I work in an organic shop and it is heartwarming chatting to all the people who came in super early to buy their NZ garlic bulbs ☺️

Edit: typos suck

I identify as a witch

I don't practice magick or spells or meditation or even cook with herbs (ever) and I kind of hate both nature and the outdoors, BUT I really identify with witches and feel the aesthetic really suits my lifestyle. Can I still call myself a witch? That's fine, right??

Which witchcraft books do you use the MOST?

Not the books you think are *important* or cool. What books do you physically go and look at the most? Which witch books have been the most indispensable? Which are the most dog-eared, bookmarked, and worn? Are any of them a bit surprising, like gardening or cookbooks?

While I am happy they are working to protect/dry the house, 6 industrial fans are about as loud as jet engine taking off in our living room. Debating heading to a motel for a few days before we go crazy, but thats unaffordable. How is everyone else coping?
