Looking for an guidance in funding
Working in rubber sector for over 5 years last year we started a company . We're in the B2B Rubber supply chain.
In the beginning things are small and manageable and we are enjoying building the bussines with not much targets and with whatever funds we have , Buy now we are getting known in locality and started getting big orders across India , some orders even cross 7-8 figures , and right now our biggest problem is we are not able to fullfill the them as we don't have working capital .
Fun part is that our margin are also good we made around 3-7% per Trade or shipment , for example on 5lakh deal we make around 15-35k consistently and we can repeat that 4-5 times a month easily
In order to grow on next steps, we connect with few investors , as we come from an non bussines / finance background , when they ask about unit economics, ebitda , valuation etc , we sometimes don't know how to answer that on the spot 😅.
We understand the actual bussines well , but we are now trying to learn the financial side which is irritating 😅.
For founders who have been through this stage , I would like to know how do go come over this , and What numbers should we understand and prepare, and what would be the best way to fund working capital for a B2B business like this?
