My alternatives to Adobe (for hobbyists)

My alternatives to Adobe (for hobbyists)

Photoshop - Affinity(photo), Krita(drawing)

Illustrator - Affinity

InDesign - Affinity

Lightroom - Darktable

XD - Figma

Premiere Pro - Davinci Resolve

After Effects - Cavalry

Audition - Audacity(audio), FL Studio(daw)

Substance - Blender

Dreamweaver - Visual Studio Code

There are many more great alternatives out there but these are simply the ones i personally use as most of them are free, with the exception of fl studio and (mostly) davinci.

Need help expanding this Adobe alternatives list!

Hey all i've been making a list containing alternatives for every Adobe program. What could i add/change to this?

The only rule to this is no subscription-only software allowed!

Will this game have controller support?

Wondering 'cause i have a controller that surrounds your phone making it look you're playing on a switch.

Gotta love the Cycle

Once a company becomes big enough the ecosystem(plugins, tutorials, community, ...) begins doing the heavy lifting without said company needing to put much effort maintaining you.

Add in a proprietary workspace to make switching as painful as possible and you got Satan- i mean Adobe. Keeping you and everyone's wallets in the milking line since the electric fence requires many people to leave at once to actually break.

The Eternal Nuclear Renaissance

Since 2000, more than a quarter of a century ago, Vogtle is the only new power plant that's been built in the usa. If you wanna throw a bone and include wattsbar that makes 2.

Not one of the 10 big new proposed plants have even entered construction and in the best case scenario will only be up in the 2040's assuming they don't get canceled. Possibly only replacing the older existing ones that'll be shutdown by then.

The only thing being built right now is 1 experimental SMR and yeah that's it.

Korea's plans to fix the population crisis

sorry for the mucho texto but there's more to say :]

Korea is planning to increase foreign labour in many sectors to temporary fill the gaps but that is it. Foreign workers with no path to citizenship and only a temporary visa.

Korea's TFR did increased in the last couple of years from 0.72 to 0.99. Still abysmally low and worse with the fact that most of said growth was moreso delayed marragies due to Covid than any of the pro-child policies. Marriage is required as the culture is very conservative with single mothers & childeren born outside marriage being heavily shunned by society.

And yeah as for the obvious fix to this crisis being the loosening of the toxic workculture + lowering housing prices. Well that would hurt the ruling boomer class so we'll pretend this obvious solution isn't possible
