Songs you used to think were lame but now enjoy

When I was a kid, I think my first exposure to metal was either TV openings with more electric guitar than usual (ala Power Rangers, Beast Wars, or Iron Man) or possibly the Mortal Kombat 1995 soundtrack. I distinctly remember hearing The Invisible by GZR (Geezer Butler's band with Burton C. Bell from Fear Factory on vocals). Kid me just thought it was a dumb song, but now it's a staple in my groove metal playlist

In retrospect, would have preferred if my uncles and parents could have introduced me to Black Sabbath much sooner because the heaviest the house ever got was AC/DC

Kongol is meant to be Native???

Just for the record, yes, I'm Native myself, and I also grew up with Legend of Dragoon on the PS1. Was most likely the first game I ever beat, in fact (the game that made me love video games).

TV Tropes puts Badass Native under his character page, but not once has he ever really read that way to me, mohawk and markings aside. The closest equivalent I can spot would be his place in the story as a member of a dying race living in a desert ala the numerous plains tribes such as the Apache, but for the most part, he's landed somewhere in my mind as a Conan the Barbarian or He-Man type of character, speaking in terms of tropes. Rarely are Native men anywhere near that tall and muscular, as it isn't conducive to hunting and gathering.

LoD feels more like a high fantasy story with its own fictional creation myths and world building that are largely detached from those sorts of real world equivalents. The best I can grant people who believe Shuhei Yoshida's team at Sony Japan had Native culture on their mind while writing the plot would be the Wendigo appearing as a boss fight. And that was an entire disc later in a frozen tundra.

Which villain would be the most dangerous with the Black Water/Aqua Mist?

This stuff shows up in the filler Garlic Jr. arc. It corrupts the victim by drawing out all their most evil and selfish qualities until they're reduced to a snarling, depraved monster willing to kill absolutely anyone, including family

Taken to its logical outcome, this would be an apocalypse-level event, likely leading to the end of civilizations

Who would be the worst villain to give this stuff to do with as they please?

How would a meeting between Sugar and Nayuta go?

Picturing she comes across a Nayuta clone who likes bikes or highways

Could see them doing a seiyuu joke like they did during the NieR Automata collab, where it gets commented on that Rapi and 2B sound similar

How racist is Fate/Grand Order

This dialogue comes from the game's Fifth Singularity, which came out on March 30, 2016 and March 15, 2018 in the global version, written by Yuichiro Higashide. The game concerns famous historical figures being summoned to save humanity, with this one being centered on North American myth.

>Nightingale: Wait a moment. I have one question.
Geronimo: Go ahead.
Nightingale: If memory serves me correctly, Geronimo, you were once at war with this nation.
Geronimo: ...That's right.
Nightingale: If this era is corrected, you will be treated as a warrior who failed. Is that still all right?
Geronimo: I don't mind... Victory or defeat, in the end, it's no more than a point embedded in the flow of time. Crushing this era would mean that my brothers and I shed all this blood for nothing. It's simple to pretend something doesn't exist. It's even easier if that something is disadvantageous to yourself. Even so, being able to acknowledge something is what makes us warriors. Only a sly coyote would pretend something doesn't exist. Too much irony for my taste.

At what point would Goku and Vegeta have been able to easily wipe out the Meta-Cooler army?

In Return of Cooler, they just jump cut to the two of them already captured after being overwhelmed by numbers, against a regenerating opponent with Instant Transmission that they struggled with at two-on-one. That places Meta-Cooler way above a Super Saiyan

By Battle of Gods, I could see Goku alone being able to take them all out with ease, but can we go even earlier in the timeline?

Most Memorable Stage Production

Ignoring the music or your affinity for the band, who had the best theatrics you've ever seen?

Rob Zombie is a clear winner for me. He played the old-school Devilman anime during Super-Charger Heaven, and his costume had this gigantic skeletal claw he waved over the audience. He also sprayed the crowd with one of the hoses shooting mist into the air, which was massively appreciated (was sweltering in there)

Will also never forget seeing Behemoth end their set on a doomy, droned out chord while a flaming pentagram burns behind them. Guy beside me in the pit went "What kinda Anton LaVey thing is this?" (most of us were seemingly there for Anthrax, Slayer, Lamb of God and Testament)

Lastly gotta give Iron Maiden props for the animatronic Eddie that Janick battled near the end of the set. That's hard to top
