Day Two

I woke up and took my second pill.

I slept all day yesterday, so I’m drinking water with electrolytes to try and make up for it. The nausea started at about 8am. I drank 40oz of regular water by noon. I am sipping on a zip-fizz at the moment.

I have had absolutely no desire to eat. I tried a Greek yogurt with protein this morning. I couldn’t eat it, it just tasted …. Off. So I ate about 3/4 C of cottage cheese for lunch. And I just threw it all up, along with what seems like all the water I’ve been drinking today. Now, I feel great.

I talked with one of my Dr’s this morning. She said this is all normal/typical when starting wegovy. So I’m just trying to push through it. I will be honest, the only thing that’s helped get rid of this feeling is a “J” and I’m okay with that (so was my Dr).

I’m always open to advice, but honestly this post is just more of a complaint than anything and I realize that. LoL So thank you for being kind and reading. I appreciate yoU.

Day One

I woke up and took the pill at 6am. I went right back to bed and woke up around 9-930am. I have gird, so I burp a lot. I don’t know if today’s are regular old gird burps, or if it’s the pill. I also feel a little hungry but don’t really want to eat. I’m going to get some protein in me straight away. Any advice for a girl on day 1?

Wegovy Meals

Starting the pill on Wednesday. Trying to prepare. I talked with my Dr today; I’ll be using Metamucil for fiber intake. I’m thinking I’ll need suggestions on protein. So far I have: cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, and tuna. With the correct portions that’s just over 60g of protein a day. I figured I could do snacks and meals with these. What other recommendations do you have for PROTEIN intake?

Journey with Wegovy

I’m starting the wegovy pill 1.5mg on July 1st, 2026. It’s the week prior and I have the prescription filled and in my home. I’ve started with a local walking group, as well as walking on my own. I will be adding in 1-2 days of yoga and 1-2 days of strength training. I am tracking my steps with my Fitbit. I’m using the Google health app to track my food and water intake, along with steps/sleep/heart-rate/exercise. My SW will be 250lbs and I’m 5’4, also will turn 46 the day before I start the pill.

What am I missing. Is there anything else I should be doing during this last week of transition? Any advice is appreciated. I’m hoping to track my journey on here but I’m not committing to that.
