Lumo AI Plus usage : what can I expect, really ?

Hello,

I have been using Claude Sonnet 4.6 with about 25-30 deep thinking queries each day.

More precisely, those usually are 6-7 threads with 3 deep thinking queries for each of them

Now Claude Pro is like 22€/month. So what can I expect from Lumo AI Plus at half of the price ?

How does the Max mode compare to Sonnet 4.6/5? How many queries can I really expect?

"More Max model usage" does not really mean much...

Thank you

Max defaults to deliberately, stealthily burning your credits

Lumo keeps defaulting to Max whenever reloading the page.

Can we stop these kinds of practices, please? You're not Google, OpenAI or whatever.

Let my default Light mode on

Sell me the 24h briefcase, I do not understand the format

Hello,

So I have a have a backpack, which carries my EDC and my laptop

I have a weekender style bag made of leather which is the same format as the Filson Duffle.

I also have a satchel which carries my EDC when I don't need a laptop

But I'm not sure I understand the briefcase format.

I mean, for me, it basically looks like one of those black nylon laptop bag which does not want to look like a laptop bag. Also, it looks a bit awkward to carry. I imagine something as heavy as a backpack with only a cross body strap that pressure your chest while being bigger than a satchel and therefore bumping into your legs and hip at each step.

I obviously developed a false idea, but I would love to hear your experience and what I am missing.

Thank you

Hello, I'm new here, and I have 2 questions

Hello,

I'm not sure how, nor why, but this week I got a sudden interest in card decks.

Like probably many of you, I'm starting with Bicycle.

I was looking for something a bit vintage, heritage, and timeless. But not those fakely aged editions like Vintage or Bourbon.

I started by buying on Amazon :

  • The Original Rider Back Standard in red
  • The (infamously stinky) Rider Back Prestige
  • The Bicycle 1885 Anniversary

then i'm waiting for

  • The Bicycle Vintage series Tangent black bought from Vinted
  • A sealed Bicycle Ellusionist White Ghost Deck V1 1st Edition bought from eBay ($ ouch!)

I think this is going to cost me a lot of money.

In theory, I'd like to have just one nice deck to play (probably the Bicycle Vintage series Tangent black) with and 4-5 sealed collectibles. I'm having a bit of trouble finding rarity of card game editions, and to be honest I'm not sure I fully understand the bicyclecards.org website. But then again, I only started three days ago... If you have an idea of how a newbie should start, I'm all ears.

Also, I stumbled upon this deckholder, and I looked everywhere but couldn't find it. I asked an Etsy craftsman if he could do something similar, and I'm waiting for his concept. But I think it looks damn cool.

This custom backpack is a nod to Filson

Hi,

I wanted to share with you a custom backpack.

No, it's not a cheap Chinese knockoff, quite the opposite!

It was handmade by a European craftsman who's obviously a Filson aficionado. He offers very high quality pieces, while correcting some of the small flaws I personally noticed on my own Journeyman.

By default, the bag features a belt buckle closure, but I asked for a rivet closure instead (simpler for me). It's something of a tribute to the old Filson roll top, but with side pockets that share the same design as the front pocket of the Journeyman.

The quality of the canvas is very, very similar to Filson's, and the leather is actually even slightly thicker. I have the tan version of the Journeyman and this canva is just a bit darker, more light brown than tan. But in some way it goes a bit better my beige jacket. I guess it also depends on the amount of wax you use...

You'll find old-school construction throughout, with the leather back panel and rivets. Now, without meaning to stir the pot, you kind of get the feeling that the man was disappointed with the direction Filson has taken and told himself: "Fine, I'll just make it myself then!"

He also added a closure for the laptop compartment, not with Velcro, as you often see, but with a large snap button, along with a ring/loop similar to the one on the front pocket.

Speaking of which, the front pocket offers more storage space, without the two side snap buttons that keep opening by accident, (yet also without the two draining holes that used to be on the original Journeyman).

I also asked him to add attachment points on the straps for a sternum strap, or to slide my glasses through while hiking.

I'm not sure whether I can post a link here, but the shop is TrailcraftCo on Etsy.

Here's s my custom handmade backpack (video)

Hello,

Yesterday, I received my custom handmade backpack from Slovakia by Innesbags.

I've been increasingly drawn to heritage-style products, but made in Europe. I needed to find a custom backpack to replace my Filson Journeyman. Honestly, I felt I could do better than a bag industrially manufactured in Vietnam, under an American brand, sold for €400...

I started by creating a concept based on one of the models sold by Innesbags on Etsy. I wanted side pockets to fit a water bottle. I then added a touch inspired by the Biographer from Bradley Mountain, with a unique closure featuring a descending rivet on the front pocket. But I asked the loop to have snap buttons just in case it would make it easier when the bag is a bit filled. I chose a waxed canvas close to Filson's tan colorway and decided to pair it with leather. I also wanted to protect the bag from the elements with a reinforced leather base.

I asked for a zipper at the top so the bag's contents stay protected when it's raining and fully packed. I also requested a mechanism to attach a sternum strap (included with the bag). On those snap buttons, I personally made leather loops — in a darker leather — so I can slide my sunglasses through them while hiking.

It doesn't show in the video, but I also asked for attachment points at the bottom of the bag, along with removable straps (also included) to secure a blanket or a jacket.

I have to admit the result is very close to what I had in mind. The size, the volume, the flexibility of the canvas, and the simplicity of the closure — everything lines up and works perfectly. I think this bag is going to become my new EDC, whether for work, short trips, or hiking.

Hello,

I currently own a Filson Journeyman

I'm thinking about getting a rolltop. I was looking on Etsy and i stumbled upon a rolltop backpack largely inspired by Filson.

I'm not too sure what to think.

Is this a warning or not ?

I do not know if I can post the link here, but you can look for the shop: TrailcraftCo.

Those are made in Bulgaria. The description mentions:

>Oilskin made by Walker & Hawkes UK
Oxford Polyester 600D Lining
Laptop Padded Section up to 16"
One Front Pocket
One Inner Zipper Pocket
Two Side Pockets
Personalized
Heritage Quality Handmade in Bulgaria by Trailcraft & Co

I'm curious to know what you think about it.

Would you call that a rip-off? Did FIlson actually "invent" the design of the Journeyman (mainly the front pocket) ? I believe there used to be a rolltop Filson Journeyman that isn't sold anymore. Does it look like it ?

I've looked elsewhere; I did an image reverse query. I could not find that bag on Aliexpress or other low-cost, rip-off e-commerce sites.

Would you say the guy is serious?
