Actual affordable housing
Looking for housing in the area that’s ACTUALLY affordable. I’m talking about 1k and under (the cheaper the better tbh). The place I live is VERY cheap because I’ve lived here for about 8 years and am grandfathered into my rent ($575 with water paid and pet rent for 2 dogs and a cat) due to my lease agreement. Unfortunately this apartment is falling apart and the landlord isn’t helping me out and living conditions are… questionable. I assume they’re trying to push me move out so they can fix up the place and bump up the rent. I’ve scoured the internet and there’s almost nothing under 1k and I find that quite ridiculous especially when I hear about people finding places, nice ones, for around $700. I just need some helppppp.

Rate my homemade enchirito
I’m honestly embarrassed by how much I love the enchirito, especially because of all the hate it receives on this sub. But oh well! Decided to make it at home! Homemade refried beans, taco meat utilizing a house blend of spices and cornstarch (iykyk) then added a splash of chicken broth, raw diced onions, all rolled (enchilada style, not burrito fold) in a flour tortilla, covered in homemade red enchilada sauce and topped with mild cheddar before being steamed. It was superb imo.

Why aren’t the chalupas crispy anymore!?
I even asked for extra crispy shells… they’re not fried at all. Are they making them differently now?
