Weight Loss Tips?

I am a male, 24, 5’8, and 256lbs. I started my weight loss journey about 2.5-3 weeks ago, starting at 271.

I consistently manage around 11,000-12,000 steps a day through work and walks. My walks usually being 3-4km with a 20lb weighted vest and an average heartrate of about 149.
At work I coach childrens soccer, running around outside, and I have a second job working retail as a shoe salesman over the summer til university starts again.
I used to be really fit, playing semi professional soccer, until I double fractured my knee and tore my MCL. After this I allowed myself to gain weight.

I am currently eating around 2200 calories a day, trying to get at least 100g of protein a day.

TBH I haven’t been struggling too much with healthy eating, I’ve quite enjoyed it actually, and its teaching me how to cook, which is nice.

I was just wondering if what I’m doing sounds right, and if theres anything I should change?
