Mainly travel in Europe/ USA, want to expand and was looking for safe options as I am a solo traveler

As you can see I need to expand where I travel… I mainly travel in NA and Europe. I’m a solo traveler so looking for any suggestions for a first timer in South America, Asia, Oceania, and Africa!

Manila and Sydney doable in a 9 day trip?

Hey all, as you can see me and my friends primarily go on Euro trips… a bit too much maybe.. We want to expand and this winter and visit Sydney and Manila. We have 9 days and were considering a split between the 2. Is that enough time or should we just choose one and go for the full length?

Have some time off work in October: Is solo traveling to Rio safe? Or should I wait and go with friends

Was doing a bit of research as it’s been my dream for as long as I can remember to go to Rio, I have some time off work in October but none of my friends are available to come along with me, should I wait until mid 2027 and go with friends? Or is solo traveling to Rio safe?

1,000 Travelers used the beta. Now I’m releasing on iOS 🎉

Link: thevelora.app Hey guys I’m a sophomore in college who spends each year of school in a new country due to the program I’m in. I realized before every trip we would go on chat gpt and research the place we’re heading… Picture this: 2 teenagers land in Saudi Arabia one didn’t get a visa and had to spend hours of time and hundreds of dollars getting a visa on arrival because of ai hallucinating… The truth is, ai travel research sucks. And so does spending hours reading blog post. Velora builds intel around you as a traveler. Your experience level, friends recommendations, and onboarding questions all play a role in the info we give you. Select cities even show what real travelers from Reddit and other blog sites have to say about scams, and little info you can’t find through a simple search. I want to make this the best app for everyone, check it out and leave suggestions! I take every comment into account.

Web app had over 1k total users, just got approved for AppStore!

Hey all, sophomore in college here, I’ve been working on a travel app making trip research much faster and more accurate than ai while being curated around every user and their friends ratings! After rebuilding the entire website to swift it’s finally live on the AppStore!

20 year old founder here: 2 months in and 1,000 travelers have used Velora!!!

Website: thevelora.app Hey all, I'm Ryan a sophomore in college, just built my first ever startup: Velora is a travel intel platform that personalizes destination intel based on YOU. Your Passport nationalities, liked or hated locations, places your friends liked or hated and etc. The algorithm learns about you and gives you warnings based on potential visa concerns! Add friends and search any city on the globe! I would love feedback as this is a work in progress and not perfect, im always cleaning up bugs but id love to have you all test it out!

My roommate got questioned by airport security in the Middle East... So I built this app in 2 months and now over 750 travelers use it!

Web app: https://thevelora.app

Every travel app wants to book your trip or plan it... I chose a different approach. Me and thousands of travelers hate spending hours doing travel research on a city with no clear cut information all in a single place. I built VELORA to change that. Search ant city on the globe and a full intel briefing is shown from safety info to the best nightlife spots in the city. This combined with social features like adding friends and comparing past trip maps makes VELORA an amazing new way to travel! And if you read this far here's a free code to unlock Pro for free: ( TRAVEL7 ) Safe Travels everyone!

20 years old, 25 countries later, I built the travel app I wish I had before.

Travel OS: https://thevelora.app

When the WiFi decided not to work on my 12 hour flight from Zurich to LA I had a lot of time to think. Over the past 2 years I’ve taken 97 flights around the world with little information about each city before arriving other than a quick google search. Travelers spend hours on 12 year old travel forums and skim hundreds of blogs to find information about a city they are visiting. Why not have all this information in seconds all in one place?

So I founded a travel intel app that helps travelers understand any city in the world before they arrive, airport logistics, safety scores, visa intel, nightlife options, work/study spots and social features to compare your previous trips with friends. If it's an important city metric for travelers it's on VELORA. I’d love to have you all try it! Always open for critiques feedback and suggestions!

Enjoy and safe travels

- Ryan

Every "ai + travel startup" wants to plan your trip or book your flights.. After 25+ countries in 2 years, I found the real problem is finding reliable information in one place.

Link to VELORA: thevelora.app (Need feedback from real travelers. Your feedback WILL be included)

There's a million and 1 itinerary planners and flight finders.. As an avid traveler I realized thats not what's needed in the travel realm. Travelers spend hours digging on 12 year old travel forums and skimming hundreds of blogs to find information about a city they are visiting. So why not have all this information done in seconds all in one place?

I founded a travel intel app that helps travelers understand any city in the world before they arrive, airport logistics, visa intel, nightlife options, work/study spots and social features to compare your previous trips with friends. If it's an important city metric for travelers it's on VELORA.

So no more "ai trip planning" find the most vital intel for any city in the world on VELORA.

Posted last week, today I have 53 user sign ups- Still looking for ways to market with the most efficiency

Startup Link: thevelora.app

I realized that every travel startup wants to plan your trip or book your flight. After close to 100 flights to 25+ countries in two years, I found the real problem is finding reliable information in one place, once you’ve picked the destination. I’m a 20 year old college student and I’m building VELORA to solve it.

So far I’m 5 weeks in from my idea on paper, I dropped the MVP around 2 weeks ago and have 250 all time users and 53 users signed up with accounts. I feel like I’m hitting a wall on marketing tactics and user acquisition right now so would love to hear some opinions on VELORA! Feel free to dm me or comment with any critiques!

First time startup founder here, trying to get as much feedback as possible!

Every travel startup wants to plan your trip or book your flight. After close to 100 flights to 25+ countries in two years, I found the real problem is finding reliable information in one place, once you’ve picked the destination. I’m a 20 year old college student and I’m building VELORA to solve it. I attached the link for you all to check out I’m super open to criticism

So far I’m 5 weeks in from my idea on paper, I dropped the MVP around a week ago and have 50 users signed up with accounts, 200+ all time users, I feel like I’m hitting a wall on marketing tactics rn, so far I’ve marketed through my own UGC content, snuck into study abroad gcs, and used my socials, all in marketing cost? 0. Really fighting tooth and nail to execute this properly and make this a winner. Looking for any critiques, advice, literally anything that could help, maybe you think my idea is horrible I want to hear it all.

Week 5 into building my 1st startup- 50 Active users- Looking for Advice/Critiques!!!

VELORA is SaaS travel intelligence platform designed so you can "know before you land" by bringing the most essential city intel into one place for every city worldwide. VELORA provides destination overviews, safety context, nightlife intelligence, visa information, trip planning tools and other vital information travelers need before landing in a new city.

The goal?: Turn hours of research into seconds

I would love to have all of you test VELORA and let me know what you think. I have been doing UGC style content and cross posting to TikTok, IG reels, and YT shorts for marketing. If anyone has any tips for getting to 100 users and beyond or advice in general I would love to hear!

I traveled the world and didn't have any way to collect vital travel info all in one place- Is my idea even feasible?

Hey all, for the past month I've been building VELORA a travel intel app that allows users to search any city in the world, providing them with the most important travel information. Visa & Airport logistics, safety ratings, in depth nightlife and "day life" spots, + social features to compare visited countries/cities with friends and etc. I started my marketing efforts around 3 days ago and have 32 active users currently. Id like to think the idea is logical but ofc as the founder to me it may seem smart to others maybe not... I don't want to make the mistake of building something that no one wants or something that doesn't make sense. I would love any feedback on the idea itself, the UI, or honestly anything.

In college and just turned 20, this is my first real startup attempt so any tips or feedback would be greatly appreciated!
