I've never posted on a sub like this but I'd like some input.
It's 4:45am right now and I was woken about an hour ago by my fiance screaming in the other bedroom (we use separate bedrooms often as I'm an almighty snorer and he turns in the bed like a rotisserie chicken.) my fiance is a big man who I've never seen even mildly afraid by anything, and he strictly does not believe in the paranormal. I am open to the idea however.
Anyway, I raced into the room and he was sitting bolt upright, sweating and saying there is something in his room.
There is a television on a shelf across the room which he said repeatedly made noise like it was being pushed on. That TV is a bit rickety so I would normally just brush it off, and he did too.
But he also has a big telescope in there. It's on three sturdy legs and it's against a wall in a corner for even more support. The wall isn't at a right angle, it's tighter as the chimney breast runs through there. The telescope was basically thrown across the room on top of him. He said it wasn't immediately toppled over, and that it had made a noise three times first like it was being knocked against the wall repeatedly. At which point he got up and turned on the lights to see if it was a rat or something (even though we've never had rats). When he got back into bed, he said it was basically thrown at him. He is extremely shaken.
I've tried every way to topple that microscope myself, and even if I forcibly push it over it won't reach the bed the way it had. I'm the first to try to apply logic to anything but I'm seriously stumped.
Any advice? Tips? Or ideas on how this logically happened? I've never experienced anything like this before.
