A school visit

Hi everyone! 😊 I'll be visiting my sailor at A School for about a month, and I have a question.

My husband is an **AS** at **NATTC Pensacola**, but he hasn't started class yet.

Has anyone had experience with **live ashore**? Is it possible for him to stay with me while I'm visiting, either before he starts class or during A School? I'd love to hear from anyone who's been in a similar situation or knows how it works.

Thanks so much in advance! 💙

Storage units in Hilo

Hi! I just wanted to ask about storage units on the Hilo. How safe are they?

I'm thinking about renting a storage unit for some of my belongings, but I'm a little worried about security. Back in Texas, I heard of people breaking into storage units and stealing things, so I'm wondering if that's a common issue on the Big Island as well.

For those who have used storage units here, what has your experience been like? Any recommendations or things I should look for when choosing a storage facility?

Mahalo!

  • Juliana Caldwell
  • Jennifer Walker
  • Gaku Yamaguchi

If anyone has experience with any of them, I’d really appreciate your feedback/recommendations. Thank you!

Do I Need My Birth Certificate for Dependent ID

Hello! My husband is currently at Navy bootcamp right now, and I’m about to process my dependent ID. Just wanted to double check with those who already went through the process. Do I need to bring my birth certificate when getting the ID, or is the marriage certificate enough? Thank you!
