APMEX has these and should be ashamed of themselves. These are copper coins meant to look like Libertads, but minted by the government of Liberia! I was blown away when I saw it and even more so when I read the description. It says the coin features two key symbols of pride for the Mexican people, winged victory and the Mexican volcanoes Popocatepeti and Iztaccihuati. Under that it says a sovereign coin backed by the government of Liberia. What do you think?

So I’m not a huge gold stacker, so be nice! I‘ve been stacking silver for years, but gold is a new thing for me. I love looking at it, and can’t get enough of the ping test for gold. The tone and length of ring makes it something special in my opinion. My Au to Ag ratio is 1/360, so I have 360 ounces of silver for every ounce of gold. Horrible thing to say in this forum, but it is what it is. I’ll get there one day. The good news is, as I add new pieces I’ll post them here, so we all have some pretty good pieces to look at!

So, I learned a long time ago that AG or silver is antimicrobial. with that knowledge, I started putting pure silver coins in my water picture in the refrigerator, the water tank on my Ninja Lux, and in my water bottle I use all day.

This got me thinking. What do other people do with their silver that most would find weird?

so I have several thousand Libertads. just went online and noticed the 2022 Libertad proofs are going for some real money. I have 21x5oz, 18x2oz, and 27x1oz 2022 proofs. I guess my question is this, does it make sense to sell the raw, or should I get them graded and then try to sell them?

also, what’s the story in the 2018 mintage? I have 8 tubes of the 1oz in BU. I also have 10x1oz antiqued and 2x2oz antiqued.
