I ran out of ideas. Need recommendations

I’ve been into electronics for about two months now. I’m a quick learner and have gotten pretty confident with soldering and basics, but I’ve run out of ideas for my next project.

Honestly, I love soldering there’s nothing quite like the feeling of it and I’d really appreciate any cool, fun, or useful project recommendations to dive into next.

Is this normal?

hi so since my dpdr worst phase passed what bothers me the most is family and friends look very unfamiliar and weird idk ive had this for long time already and i was just on 3 day trip with friends so i just got home and when i saw my mom i was like omg shes so unfamiliar and it scared me a little . i want to know why this happens and if its normal for it to get stronger when you see a person you WANT to recognize after a few days of not seeing them.

Explain to me what i’m doing wrong

I always keep seeing like “let it go” and “accept it” and stuff like that and thats what i’ve been trying to do. Ive gone to trips, i have fun, i dont hide from the world, i go outside often but nothing feels better mostly my visual perception thats bothering me and also feeling like my closest people look foreign but ive done the steps . whenever i get thoughts about DPDR not ending or something its different sometimes i have this huge hope of it ending and sometimes the opposite but overall i dont spiral into those thoughts anymore so whats keeping me in this state? well my sleeping schedule is shit and i have really long screentime almost everyday . Im not that scared anymore but sometimes im scared by the fact that its not getting better and that then makes me want to start monitoring it again. I dont even know why my dpdr started i havent done any substances or weed and that scares me more that i dont know the reason it happened. it was mild at first only visual and then panic attack turned it into horror literally. I understand that its overwhelmed nervous system but how is it always overwhelmed and why doesn’t it start feeling safe?

Does it ever feel normal again?

So my DPDR started like a year ago but it got really intense about 6 months ago, i had panic attacks and basically every textbook symptom of DPDR.

So whats been really bothering me is that i always feel like i’m not in the present anymore, never. Always feels like i’m just in an endless dream with very broken short-memory and on an Autopilot. Feels like i’m drifting away further and further from reality. Everyone feels foreign and nothing really makes sense. Lights are too bright , dark places are too dim, Everything looks flat and not beautiful , Close people feel alien like including my girlfriend . Basically idk what life i’m in anymore and Its so exhausting my vision feels so broken sometimes i just stand in my room and look around and think to myself What the fuck even is all this? i feel like i’m not at the right place and my visual symptoms are so annoying feels like im always drunk a little. Ive been taking meds they manage my anxiety pretty well.

But i’m here because i’m curious about when people say “just let it go and accept it” Yeah i’ve done it and its still here and has been here for a very long time and i don’t understand how else to “Accept it” i’ve been trying to live normally and don’t pay attention to it and i do have fun and enjoy things but ITS still always there 24/7 nothing feels and looks good. So what do you guys mean by ACCEPTANCE cuz letting it go doesn’t seem to work it actually makes me feel like i’m losing touch with myself more and more and i don’t want to accept the fact that ill never feel and see normally again.

Does anyone else's curiosity turn into an exhausting, endless research loop? (Feeling like I'm "cooking my brain")

Hey everyone, I need to see if anyone else deals with this.

Ever since dealing with anxiety and DPDR, my curiosity feels broken.

When I get interested in a topic, my brain treats it like an emergency instead of a fun hobby. I fall down massive rabbit holes with an intense, desperate urge that I cannot stop or sleep until every single question is answered, Instead of it being fun like its supposed to and how it was before my DPDR, anxiety.

My brain panics: "How was this invented? Do I understand the foundational layer? What if I'm not smart enough?" It feels like trying to reverse-engineer the universe in one sitting.

By the end of it, I feel like I've completely cooked my brain. I get this irrational fear that I'm going to burn out or lose my mind from overthinking. It stops feeling like learning and starts feeling like a trap.

Has anyone else experienced this? How do you force your brain to shut down and accept that you don't need to know everything right this second.

Need enlightenment

So ive been dealing with intense dpdr for almost a year , idk exactly how long its been but definitely less than a year so i remember i once felt it was finally going away but it came back with sleepless nights, gaming at night , being on the phone all day, going back into relationship that in my VIEW triggered dpdr but my question here is . How well understood is dpdr actually is? and is there any biological evidence that backs that it cannot stay stuck? also im curious what to do in case when i feel like im putting in the work but see no results, because it then makes me feel like im actually stuck and there is no way out. Also i got so used to it that i feel like i wont even know when its gone its like i dont have any expectations anymore . Can you ever actually feel like your old self which was full of life and felt alive and had goals?

Question About DPDR

Problem with perception

ive been sleeping really bad for months like from 6am to 2pm or even later like 3-4pm . so ive been fixing it for the past 3-4 days and ive been doing great , going to sleep earlier and waking up earlier but i feel like 10 times more dissociated, i feel like im completely out of it literally all of my perceptions feels like its fried and im literally on autopilot not understanding anything i do . is that normal? i mean sometimes i feel like i get from point A to B with teleportation

Help figure this out

High stress led to a "flat" world perception that escalated into panic attacks and severe DPDR. I felt "drunk" 24/7, experienced distorted sizes, dimmed vision (especially at night), severe existential dread, and felt like people were aliens. I built a strict routine of cold showers, 100 pushups, walks, medication, better sleep, and exposure therapy. After 1–2 months of steady improvement, I suddenly snapped 100% back to reality while in the university hallway in March.
However, that only lasted a week. Once university break started, I dropped my habits and sleep schedule, and the symptoms returned. It isn't as severe now, but it won't fully go away. The biggest issue currently is looking at my mom or my girlfriend and suddenly feeling like they aren't real, are hallucinations, or like I don't know them. I am terrified that I’ve forgotten what normal feels like, that my brain is permanently damaged, and that if I stop paying attention to it, I will become completely lost.

Not sure where im at (DPDR)

Long story short some things in my life caused a lot of stress , started noticing the world looked flat but it was like that until i started having panic attacks and then thats when the real thing started i felt drunk 24/7 weird visual perception like you are drunk or sizes dont make sense dimmed vision id felt like my eyes wanted to jump out of my body . everyone felt like aliens and ofc i had existential crisis and ton of questions of what we are why we exist why we do what we do and all that stuff. i got tired eventually and wanted to help myself so i started having cold showers, doing 100 pushups a day, going for a walk , taking medicine, sleeping better, keeping myself busy and i guess doing exposure therapy with what caused my dpdr and changing habits which were stressful. so after 1-2 months i was getting better everyday was worse at first when i started my recovery journey but then slowly everyday became better. so it was in march after my birthday that i went to my university as usual and as im standing in hallway i suddenly felt like i was BACK like everything felt familiar and real again. but that only lasted like a week as soon as my break from university began things got worse again my sleep schedule and good habits idk why i just stopped doing them cuz i felt better and its been like that since its not as bad but it just wont go away fully. especially if im out at night i literally cant see things clearly it gets worse when its dark. the only thing thats been bothering me A LOT is that when i look at my mom or my girlfriend i sometimes feel like idk who they are. looking at them feels confusing and scary and i sometimes feel like they aren’t real or hallucinations or something like that even tho i interact with them normally that feeling still creeps up on me. So my question is what is going on? why is it lingering like that and not going away fully . feels like i forgot what normal felt like and its scaring me that maybe my brain is unable to go back to its original state . i know that overthinking feeds dpdr but i dont do that anymore. its just that sometimes i feel like if i dont pay attention to it im gonna be fucked up and completely lost at some point without even realizing.
