Hello, I am a first yr BSA student. And we recently came across the topic about qualitative characteristics—under fundamental QC, faithful representation has neutrality, free from error, and completeness. Though it is stated that the statements must be free from error, our prof specifically mentioned that there will still be errors made by the accountants. Jobs of accountants are really critical and crucial, one mistake could lead to another.

That’s why I am wondering whether what kind of mistakes were made by a co-worker, you, or an accountant you know and what were the consequences. Not to shame anyone, this post is here so that I can learn from the accountant’s experience and possibly not repeat the mistake. If ure not comfy in sharing or ure not in the position to share the story, it’s totally fine~ :)))

Again, this is not asked to shame on anyone TT Maybe through this post, I can measure and further reflect on how critical it is to become one.

Hello, I am just curious whether you chose your religious practice because it was the tradition and was passed down or you had a divine revelation or miracle experiences inside the religion?

For context, I am a Christian and I chose to be part of this bc I personally experienced something from him, let’s not dive too deep into that. And I was just wondering whether people is part of a religion since they are required to do so by their family.

I hope that everyone will be respectful :)) since I am asking this for solely out of curiosity only and not to hate on anyone. Thank you for sharing ur stories :)) I’m grateful that you’ll give me a new perspective about this topic.

Currently akong nasa groupings. Nagsend ako ng part ko, and I can’t help it na baka isipin nila na gumamit ako ng AI. “Huh? Akala ko ba mahina ang vocab mo? Bakit mo iniisip na sa tingin nila ay gumagamit ka ng AI?”

True na ako ang nagcocompose ng mga pinapasa ko, pero I use the “**** synonym” technique (dictionary app). Idk, feeling ko nagchecheat ako. I am familiar with the words na I used sa pinasa ko, pero I tend to be only using beginner words w/o the help of the synonym technique. For instance, simpleng synonym ng passionate kailangan ko pang isearch in order for the paper not be redundant.

With books I’m really having a HARD TIME picking the books that I’m interested in. Sa talking naman, feeling ko talaga pinalaki ako sa ilalim ng bato, at iba yung humor ng mga tao. Not really much of a talker, v introverted growing up. Not really interested in many things that people talks about.

Maybe some advise to improve my vocabulary. I also recently installed a vocabulary app, I haven’t looked it much yet, parang may bayad after a week.

All these years, I did not understand the older son’s argument. A lil’ background, I assumed that the older son in parable The Prodigal Son was the old people that has been in fire with God for a long time and they were jelly about the new Christians.

Yea.. I know that it doesn’t sit right with me, but I let it slide anyways. And i did some praying a long long ago… to understand what it was about. Just this evening, while scrolling, a guy asked “what should a person must do to inherit the Kingdom of God?” And a guy answered “through good works” and somewhat the Holy Spirit reminded me of The Prodigal Son. That’s what the older son is symbolizing!!! (Sorry, I am excited not angry :))) He was proving himself through his own works!! In this day and age, many people thinks that they deserve THE KINGDOM & GOD’s LOVE through their own works! Because they do “good things to others.” But NO! YOU ARE SAVED BECAUSE OF THE BLOOD OF CHRIST, OUR LORD. YOU ARE SAVED THROUGH GOD’s GRACE! Not ur own work! Bc if God did that, everyone will be boastful, comparing themselves to others, or saying that they’re more deserving just bc they did more good.

Here’s an analogy I heard that I’ll neva forget: You’ll get in the shower to get cleaned, not bc ur clean. (Idk if I worded that properly #sendhalp ) you know how many Christians usually says that “I am too dirty to be called worthy, I’ll clean myself first before coming to Christ, i’ll do good works before going back to Christ, i’ll give to others first before coming back to Him.” But Christ is THE SHOWER!! HE’S THE ONE WHO WILL CLEAN YOU! YOU CANNOT CLEAN URSELF, BC (again) HE’S THE SHOWER, AND TO BECOME CLEAN, YOU’LL NEED TO (continuously) ENTER THE SHOWER—his presence.
