Ultra Sun: Every Pokémon is Viable - OUT OF BETA!

Pokémon Ultra Sun: EPIV is now available for version 1.0!

What is Every Pokémon is Viable?
EPIV is a complete overhaul of Ultra Sun, centred around the idea that every Pokémon should have a chance to shine. Your fave should have the chance to be crazy overpowered. Especially because the main philosophy of EPIV is 'If Everyone is Overpowered, then No-one is'.

You realise that's a stupid way to build a game right?
Absolutely! EPIV is an incredibly silly idea, but more importantly - It's Fun.
Everything is overhauled, Base Stats, Abilities, Typings, Level Up Learnsets, Move Tutors, TMs Moves, Evolutions, Trainers, Trials, Shops, Battle Facilities - you name it, odds are I've messed with it in some way. Might be worth having a quick look on the 'Changes' page on our wiki, found here: https://ultrasunepiv.wiki.gg/wiki/Changes

How Difficult is it?
EPIV is a lot harder than a normal Pokémon game, but importantly I've done my best to take on board feedback and balance it. Who'd have thought that making every Pokémon extra strong would apply to trainers, eh?
The intention is that if you go in blind, you are expected to lose some battles and have to plan for them. BUT, the documentation on the Wiki is very good and if you want to plan for a challenge run, you totally can! A Nuzlocke has been completed by at least one Beta Tester of EPIV.

Feature List?

  • New Pokémon Stats
  • New Pokémon Movesets
  • New Access to Abilities
  • New Wild Pokémon Locations
  • All 807 Pokémon attainable within the region, including all forms
  • New Evolution Methods/Access to Evolution Methods
  • Some Pokémon have new or updated typing
  • Absolutely Zero Shiny Locks, and increased Shiny Chance (1/100)

The story itself has not been updated however to counter the more streamlined power level including:

  • Updated Trainer AI
  • More Prevalent Trainer Held Items
  • New Gym Leader, and Elite 4 Teams
  • New Totem Challenges

And of course, to ensure it runs as smoothly as possible we've also had updates with:

  • Updated Shops
  • Fresh Set of TMs
  • Fresh Set of Move Tutors
  • Freshly Baked Malasadas all over the Region

I can't be bothered to read all this, has anyone done a video review?
Yes! Although a fair bit earlier in our Beta, the lovely VanillAlcremie made a video on us about a year ago, which can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=15-T-JbHc_Y
There are some spoilers because it is an actual review so if you wan't to see some stuff without, just scroll down to see some pictures of the hack.

I can be bothered to read, and I want to read more!
A good place to start with that is on the Changes page on the Wiki (linked above), but if you want to deep dive, and aren't afraid of spoilers this is a great place to go second: https://ultrasunepiv.wiki.gg/#Important_Pages

Where can I Play Ultra Sun: EPIV?

I think we can all agree that getting 5 consecutive wins against a player versus the AI is a whole different ball game.

It also seems common consensus that the AI, to increase difficulty, is far more likely to start with a good hand than the player (I don't think that this has been proved but it doesn't hurt to act under this assumption when planning)

I wanted to open a space to share decks for this task, ones which may not measure up to the Meta but may give the AI a run for its money

Please share any decks here that you've had luck/fun with that you think would do the job
