I am a C/o 2031 USMA applicant with an already solidly passing CFA, 1430 SAT, Admissions interview, part of my recommendations, and some extracurricular in my West Point application. It says on the portal that the medical will open up July first with priority going to better applicants or those with more of the application completed, when should I expect my medical to open. I want to get it going asap.
Most of my recommenders would not like to put down there address and other personal information down on the form. While being understandable I was wondering how much something like this matters? Do I really need to have my recommenders personal phone and home adress on the application or is it not that big of a deal?
I am applying for class of 2031 for engineering and will most likely be going in with army/navy or possibly Air Force scholarship. I am definetly sub par, but not terrible, for aerospace but I have also heard that sometimes admissions for ROTC cadets is easier than typical applicants.
Heres an overview of my stats:
I scored a 1430 SAT 720M/710R, Varsity track (almost made it to area, 5th in district), participated in a student organization ran by my congressional district, ~70 volunteer hours, club founder, National stem honor society officer. GPA: 3.73/4 unweighted, weighted 5.24/6. I live in Texas but am not top 5% more like 12-17th percentile.
Do I have a chance if I came in as a cadet?
