Boncoura 66 Black 15.5oz Ivy League Fit

I picked these up at Hinoya One in March '26. Once I experienced this denim and tried the fit in person it was game over. There are all the legendary Japanese brands producing extremely high quality selvedge denim we all love and crave, and then there is Boncoura. It was very apparent on my travels throughout Japan, and visiting all the different brand flagship stores, that Boncoura's craftsmanship and quality of textiles & garments is on another level! On that trip I was hoping to find a pair of black (fade to grey) selvedge with a smart tailored fit and this "ikemem (handsome)" sulfur-dyed denim with the 1960's Ivy League Fit checked all the boxes.

Lee 10.5oz Railroad Stripe Loose Carpenter Jeans

Been getting lots of wear out of these Lee hickory stripes this summer. The silhouette is actual one of my favorites out of my entire rotation, the lightweight 10.5oz 100% cotton denim has a pronounced relaxed fit that lets them drape, flow, and style great for summer fits IMO. For under $100, they punch way above their weight.

TCB Jeans Cathartt Painter Pants 10OZ

These are just a fun pair of jeans!

TCB reverse engineered an archived pair of 1930s Carhartt painter pants, obsessing over all the tiny construction details they’ve become famous for.

I picked these up from TCB’s Kojima flagship, and they quickly became my go to summer denim this year. They’re made from a repo 10oz 2x1 selvedge denim developed to recreate the character of the original fabric, with a comfortable high rise and a great wide, relaxed fit. Not to mention, they’re absolutely dripping in indigo.

These are by far the widest pair of denim I own, but I feel like they style much more heritage workwear than streetwear. They’re surprisingly versatile and can easily be dressed up or down.

There are a ton of unique details throughout, including the Mule Ear pockets, cinch-back strap, heart-shaped hardware, tongue in cheek homage with the name, and some huge vintage fade potential.

Just a really cool pair of TCBs that are a lot of fun to wear and get lots of complements.

orSlow x Canoe Club Walnut Brown HBT Fatigue Pants

All of my favorite pants are orSlow and I'm fortunate enough to have a few different pairs of their fatigue models, but this 2026 collab with Canoe Club is my absolute favorite! The walnut brown garment dye + hand washed + distressing, along with the classic regular fatigue silhouette, all come together for the perfect all around pair of pants! I picked up the chore coat from this collab in the same color as well which is just as versatile and beautiful.

Samurai Kinari "Cotton Project" Regular Straight

I picked these S510SC-KI Samurai Cotton Kinari Regular Straight Jeans up from the Samurai Osaka store in March '26. I wanted a "tailored' Ecru pair of denim for spring and summer and even though these are 19oz, they wear super cool and light. Straight was the only fit available at that time so when I got these hemmed for single cuff + clean break I also had them tapered 3/4' from the knee down. After the chainstitch & taper I gave them a quick cold soak + air dry to reset the denim and have worn them at some point every week since.
The patina and color evolution on these have been incredible! The more oils, sweat, grime, and friction they come in contact with the deeper the texture and "cream' tones come out, and the fact that Samurai controlled the entire process on this pair, from growing the cotton to final packaging, adds a really cool story to the beautiful look.

Left Feild NYC | Hand Loomed Hand Dyed Western Shirt.

The Hand Loom Hand Dyed Selvedge Denim Western Shirt was my first piece from Left Feild NYC. The quality, craftsmanship, fit, style, price, and of course story of this shirt is elite!
The combo of being woven on a hand loom and dyed by hand makes this fabric incredibly soft, smooth, and drapy right out of the box (compared to most of my crunchy, stiff, and ridged selvedge / indigo dyed garments).

Looking forward to enjoying this one and watching it age for years to come!
