what is a scene you deliberately made less cinematic because the story worked better that way?

we usually talk about improving lighting, composition, camera movement and production value but sometimes making a scene look simpler or rougher can serve the story better

have you ever intentionally avoided the cinematic choice ? what did you change and did it work?

what programming opinion did you completely change after building real projects

i used to think writing more code meant i was getting better now i spend more time deleting code than adding it

whats an opinion you had as a beginner that completely changed after building real projects

what small vs code setting ended up changing the way you code?

not looking for the usual extension recommendations i am more curious about tiny built in settings or shortcut you ignored for ages and then wondered how you worked without them

what was yours?

what design decision do you intentionaally leave imperfect?

i have noticed that sometimes fixing every tiny inconsistency can make a design feel almost too polished or sterile are there things you intentionally leave a little imperfect because they add character or make the design feel more human? curious where other designers draw that line

what is a bug that actually made you a better programmer

i mean a bug that took forever to figure out but taught you something you still use now could be about memory databases async code apis or literally anything

curious what broke your code but upgraded your brain lol

what is a programming habit that seemed pointless as a beginner but saved you later

when i was starting out stuff like naming variables properly writing small functions and keeping projects organized felt like extra work now i am wondering which boring habits actually become important once projects get bigger

what habit do you wish you started earlier
