I am posting this after getting completely fed up with Reliance Jio’s misleading practices and pathetic customer service.

What Happened:I accidentally recharged the wrong number. Cancelled immediately.

The app offered:Bank refund (5-7 days)

Wallet → “Instant Credit”

I chose Wallet.

Nowhere in the entire process was it disclosed that wallet balance can ONLY be used on the registered Jio number and cannot be transferred or used on any other number.This important restriction was deliberately hidden.

This is clear misleading and unfair trade practice.

When I called customer care, the senior executive refused to help and said:

“Sorry, we cannot transfer from wallet to bank.” In an emergency, I couldn’t use the money. When I got frustrated (anyone would), she became rude. When I mentioned Consumer Forum, she arrogantly replied — “Do whatever you want, money will not go back to your bank account.

”Even worse:No response from @JioCare

even after sending full details in DM many hours ago.

Still receiving 4-5 harassment calls daily from different numbers threatening to disconnect service.

Network quality is also going downhill.

My Demands:Immediate full refund to my original bank account (not wallet).

Add proper disclaimer for Wallet policy.

Stop daily harassment calls.

If no resolution in next 24 hours, I will file complaints with TRAI, National Consumer Helpline, and Consumer Court.

Jio hides critical wallet limitations, traps customer money, gives zero support, and continues harassment calls. Worst experience.
