It’s a 2.5 gallon, I’m mainly wondering if I should get more black lava rock?

They’re all swimming around, I got 10 in here, I have a 2.5 gallon in the back but waiting on a order of chaeto and another 12 shrimp so it’s not to large of a space for them. Does this look good as a temporary holding for the next month or so? I have the light on a 12 hour timer

I have multiple holes like this in my wall from posters and adhesives that got stuck to the wall and tore off the paint, how do I repair this damage within the next week and what should I order from Amazon to repair? Any help much appreciated.damage
