What happened to WTUE morning show shock jocks in the 80's/90's

I grew up in the general area where I listened to Kerrigan and Christopher on 'TUE.

I never got the real story why they were pulled off the air/or quit.

I know one has passed, so I am not trying to step on anybody so DM if its dirty laundry.

Thanks, I loved listening to them growing up and their antics. Classic 80's zany morning DJ's.

Best near desserts/healthy versions

I keep seeing black bean brownies, chickpea cookie dough etc on Insta.

Are any of these near enough to scratch the itch of something sweet?

Anyone have a good recipie they would like to share?

I already do chia seed pudding. Greek yogurt w/ berries for my treat. Looking for something different.

Thanks

Request: Foley's best part acting in a movie or TV show.

I was curious what this sub considers Foley's best role or character was during his acting days.

I wanted to watch one of his performances.

The only thing I have seen him in was Tires S2. S3 drops soon for all you bozos.

Damn, now I am cutting promos for him!

Skunked at deep creek today, advice.

We went 7a.m. to Deep Creek. We fished a good 6 hours, going all the way to what looked like the end to the trail (maybe a mile past the falls). We did not get a bite, scare any fish away or see any jump. We used many baits, colors etc with no luck.

I was just curious why we didnt see/catch any fish today.

We are not trout fishermen, but we have caught them before. Thanks.

Tomorrow Quick Fishing advice near Fletcher, NC

I have about 2 hours max to fish when my SO meets an old friend at Sierra Nevada in Fletcher.

I need quick access and a chance to possibly catch a few fish (catch/release).

I see french broad and a park near for bank access and Cane Creek with

park access. Any other ideas, is there water to fish the creek?

I fish for about anything than muskie and cat (not equiped). Just like fishing, I dont need trophies.

Any help would be appreciated.

Fishing rod/reel recs for kayaking and/or creek crawling

I am looking for a rec for fishing rods and reels. Combos are fine, or make my own just as good. I had a few Lew's combos which I really liked for the price, but they don't appear to make the model I like anymore in the config I want.

I like a 6' or a 6'6" (1 piece preferred) I don't want longer as the rivers I fish have a lot of trees to deal with near the banks.

Spinning rod 2500-3000and reel

Like a medium light/medium power Action fast

Mostly fish for small mouth bass, but I catch anything else that bites.

Looking for the Accord Camry of poles/rods. Affordable, reliable and great value for the money.

Looking to spend $200ish for a rod & reel. I tend to be fairly hard on them creek crawling and kayaking, I don't really want to spend much more than that. I have few nicer rods for Sunday bank fishing with the kids and bass boat outings with friends.

Any help would be great.
