Dragon

You stumble your way into a pocket dimension that bridges a minor gap between the the realms, and see a high vaulted ceiling held by wide pillars of black gilded stone. the floor - if one could call it a floor - is covered with so much gold coins and fine jewels, the original stonework of the floor is unseen. the piled and strewn about gold resembles the sand dunes of a bright desert, with a larger pile here, one over there, but they all seem to originate from a larger mound of the gold toward the center of the chamber.

every dozen seconds or so, a dry breeze flutters past you from somewhere in the center of this wide chamber, from the pile.

what do you do?

(ooc: yes this is pics from the hobbit, but my dragon is not smaug exactly. I use him in another rp subreddit, so I'm slowly tweaking it to be universe-neutral.)

ooc post

How would I apply to be a mod for this sub? I ask bc i was thinking of getting the experience of being one in I guess.

Also im seeing some people say the mods aren't active enough to do much. Don't know if that be true, but im willing to give it a shot here.

AMA for Reinhardt

Haven't done an AMA for Reinhardt yet, but here we go.

Also, should I bring back my first character, Wanderer? People seemed to like the posts with him.

Calvarion's Awakening (prior to the version everyone talks to in the present)

Temporary new character bc i feel like it

(ooc: I'm putting minbitt in the hotel bc why not. This is somewhat of a half-assed character, but im bored and I got nothing to write for my other guys.)

*just appears in the hotel, not used to teleportation* hoh...hello?

***(THIS ART IS NOT MINE, I SCREENSHOTTED IT FROM ONE OF MINBITT'S SHORTS ON YOUTUBE)***

I did a secondary thing outside of my völuspá transcription

I decided to transcribe Namárië into tengwar bc why not.

I grabbed the lyrics from Tolkien Gateway for both quenya and English lyrics, then threw the quenya lyrics into BSSScribe, using the settings "Quenya - Tengwar (classical mode)" for mode and font was "Tengwar Artanno (based on Annatar Italic)"

Can anyone help if willing?

I have an OC i have a concept for, but I had to use abominable intelligence to get the right idea for him. If anyone is willing, I can send you the clanker images I have through (reddit) DMs and go off of that along with a description.

Said description:

Hroþgar Kælvariyín. Former King of (redacted)

Black furred cloak (like Eddard Stark's cloak in Game of Thrones)

Machine body, black and red tendrils replacing what would be internal cables and wires.

Pick one of three: Spear, Longsword, or Bow (if Bow, Black Arrows like from the Hobbit, the one Bard uses to kill a dragon.). All high-tech looking, as the weapon can turn into the other two.

Head: *(*either or)

● Stag skull, blackened like wood-char. a Tiwaz rune carved into the forehead of said stag, shimmering with red and black. On antlers: bluish lines winding long around the antlers. In the eyes: Black except for the red optics underneath on Hroþgar's head.

● machine head. for reference, look up Techpriest or Skitarii head. Red optic lenses for eyes. Or use the automatons from Helldivers II.

If none of this is sufficient enough, let me know and I'll see if I can fill the gaps.

At a pub in Pentagram City

*Ariakan is spotted inside a pub with a couple of his officers, some are singing proudly, and Ariakan joining in louder.*

Ariakan: blunt th' knives, bend th' forks, smash th' bottles an' burn the corks!

Officers: chip th' glasses an' crack the plates- Dat's what the dam barkeep hates!!

(Insert your response of song or start a bar/pub vibes song and Ariakan will join it anyway)

NEW CHARACTER!!! why? i'm bored, i have free will and NO ONE CAN STOP ME HAHAHAHAH!!!

(ooc: INTRODUUUCING Vozekhan, Nemesor of the Nihilakh Dynasty and his tomb complex is in the Greed Ring, because why not: green is a necron color?)

(Nemesor Vozekhan is basically a general and a lord at the same time, and because of that, i was hoping to write into his lore that Lucifer or one of the other Sins appointed him as an Overlord (assuming that's how it works.). he is 100% immortal and has the personality of a rock and something that sees anything with flesh as something to be improved on. he has a high regard for honor, manners, and people who aren't like Vox (show version, the asshole one, not the character versions in this sub)

pls use as AMA for now bc i can't think of anything else to add.

I've been bored lately so here we go

Let's see how many of you know me.......even though I haven't done much interaction in the last two weeks.

u/Sweden-Yes-7734 — 1 month ago

Strolling through Pentagram City

(ooc: boom. Update for a dragon. He now has a human(-ish) form (dragon shapeshifting magick))

(Reason for why he looks mostly metal?: Calvarion is a Ironscale Warwyrm of the Wrath Ring, his scales are made of grown Hell-iron and can withstand some damage before seeing wear.)

Some wonder and stare at me as I merely walk down this path. What intrigues me more is how much fear I can smell off them.... none. It seems Hell has forgotten our myths.... a shame.

(Enter roleplay here i guess, basically ama. Im bored I want interaction pls.)

Update: im making some progress

I just finished transcripting stanza 25 of the Völuspá into tengwar using the following settings.

u/Sweden-Yes-7734 — 2 months ago

(Update on Calvarion)

(Boom, Calvarion (old spelling: Kælvarïyin) now has a body. I forget what site I used but know that this is pulled from a dragon generator site and is not fully my own art, and I used the sites tools and stuff to put this together. Use Smaug or Glaurung or Ancalagon for a size scale, as Calvarion can alter his size and shape at will bc of magick.)

(edit: please use this post as an AMA, im bored.)

(new character time, i'm bored I CAST DRAGON)

(ooc: NEW CHARACTER LADS! i felt like a dragon instead of a humanoid today, so i cast legally-distinct-smaug)

You feel the ground tremble because this creature weighs as heavy as a fortress and just as final. it's scales are black like iron burned of all shine. They drink light, layer upon layer, thick enough to turn blades into dust. it's wings fold around it like a burial shroud, and when they open, the air breaks in submission. his breath is not fire, it is war made flame. It burns stone, steel, and hope alike. Where it passes, the dead listen again. what's worse is it's eyes are embers in ash.

then the Ancient Warwyrm of the Wrath Ring speaks, a voice rolls from his throat like distant thunder beneath a mountain, deep enough to rattle stone and settle in the bones of those who hear it. There is iron in it—a grinding, metallic edge, as though great plates of black steel shift behind every word. I speak slowly, deliberately, each syllable carrying the weight of certainty.

what has become of the Hell i knew long ago? what has transpired in my absence?

u/Sweden-Yes-7734 — 2 months ago

(an AMA of all three of my guys here)

A: so we're doin' dese AMA t'ings and 'tis me first time wit' it!
