I did a thing

I was bored so I looked up a sindarin alphabet (last image) and wrote the first thing I saw then thought.

Lord of Shade, Master of the Ginnungagap (ooc: the Void, as Wanderer knows it). Hearken to me.

A fire lays between us, my weapons lay to the side save for my longsword

I ask of you what you bring to this realm. And why. I seek to understand you.

(OOC: question, this time about a slight change to how Wanderer is.)

(Im going over Wanderer's lore, and he died of drowning, considered a dishonorable death by the standard of "die in battle, go to heaven" viking ideology. His drowning in a storm lands him in Helheim/Hell's Pride Ring in 705 Common Era, and he still considers Hell to be Helheim.

Due to the nature of his death not truly being "sinful" by the modern standard of current hell, would it be acceptable for Wanderer to be able to travel between the Rings of Hell at a whim or by specific means.

I'm basically asking if i can have Wanderer hold some power over roads across all/some of the Rings.)

(Are these terms acceptable? Im open to keep it as he is or limit his travel.)

Question

Im gonna be a new player come July, when I have access to the game, and I want to ask if there are any tips so I dont pick a bad loadout right off the bat.
Also what cosmetics are new-player-friendly?

Come, weary road-walkers of Helheim, rest

I have seen many afoul post and dark tidings of late. Come and rest by the roadside, let us ignore the world for a moment. If you would hear one, I will tell you of a Saga of your choice or of mine.

Would you yet know more, friends?

I keep true to my word (follow up of a post 10 hours ago)

Gather round, hearken to me. I've a tale to tell. Be it a tall one? That is for you to believe or otherwise.

I shall tell you of how the Pact of the Ash Roads came to be.

Hello, its Wanderer

You decided to go on a walk today, because MENTAL HEALTH is a thing.

The road gradually narrowed as the walk carried deeper into the forest, trees arching overhead until the outside world vanished behind dense fog and pine.

Despite the wilderness around it, the road remained strangely pristine — smooth dark stone, clean edges, iron lanterns glowing softly between the trees as though someone still maintained them.

A hooded figure sat on a log of firetree further down the road, partly obscured by mist, faint traces of dull metal visible beneath layered black clothing. He watched silently for a moment before speaking in a calm, gentle - yet inhuman and artificial - voice:

“Not many wander this trail anymore.”

The lanternlight flickered against the stranger’s (Wanderer's) hood.

“So tell me… what brought you here?”

hello (i think its my first post here, not sure)

ooc: hi im trying a new character and i want some opinions on him. where i say Overlord i mean a minor kind of overlord. a further-reaches-of-the-pride-ring kind of thing.

(in character): Hail, fellow sinners. i am Wanderer, the Overlord of Trails. or you may address me by one of these: Wræc, Raskvein, Wanderer, Hooded One, Truth-Teller, Dreadnought, Draegir, Veyr, and Skeld. (i have a lot of names, forgive me)

i have no known public enemies and prefer diplomacy.
Origin: 645 CE (birth) Rohæm (ooc: geologically just Denmark) and i was a minor village chief. i died in 705 CE. my physical body is 98% helliron and other metals, as i was augmented within the last few decades due to technological advances.

OOC: ama and BE HONEST, i wanna hear some true thoughts about this one.

QUESTION

I need opinions. Im thinking of changing my current oc (the alastor's bounty hunter guy) to a new one which is similar in vibe and gist but I wanted him to be an overlord (somewhat a minor one, but still) of something.

Photos are the new guy.

My question for his lore im still writing:

What should be his domain of power? Location and General powerset. I was thinking somewhere far outside Pentagram City, and travel-safety or a messenger of some kind.

In the writing so far, he has no known public enemies and prefers diplomacy. Origin: 645 CE (birth) Denmark (but i call it Rohæm.) And was a minor village chief. Dies in 705 CE. Mostly metal body (augmented within the last few decades in hell due to technologic advances).

His name(s)? Overlord of Trails (placeholder if its not the future title), Wræc, Raskvein, Wanderer, Hooded One, Truth-Teller, Dreadnought, (i have a lot for him, forgive me) Draegir, Veyr, and Skeld.

Wtf is going on in this literal hellhole.

Enough drama, WITNESS THE BUN.

But seriously, what is going on. Im seeing vox blacklist 50 people, 100 sinners trying to kill someone, and 5000 kaiju gods (how are they in hell, I thought they live in Jötunheim) being overlords.
