Before the big dinner box, there was the standard dinner box, which came with a medium one topping pizza, breadsticks, and cinnamon sticks. The best part is that the whole box was only $10.
It was the perfect meal for 1-2 people, especially if you were a college student like me. I took advantage of that deal quite often, because $10 guaranteed me a meal that I could eat for 2 or 3 days. I really wish they would bring that back.
It's official, Honda has officially pulled the plug on the Prologue, which is its only EV in North America.
It's really unfortunate seeing Honda go all in on the present, and not plan for the future. This is now going to put Honda decades behind everyone else. Electrification is where the future is headed. It's been wildly accepted, and adopted in many other markets. The only reason why it's crawling in North America, is because we're currently being led by an administration that wants people to believe that clean energy is an abomination. It's why they killed the federal tax credit, and in its place continues to invest in more coal mining.
At the end of the day, I really like the Prologue, but I'm glad I'm only leasing. Getting my local Honda dealership to update the car's software has been like pulling teeth. They act like they want nothing to do with it, and now that they've made it official, neither do I. I foresee Honda will no doubt try to incentivize people to end their leases early, so that they can get them into one of their hybrids, which I will never do. Since going full electric, I will never again go back to ICE. I'll most likely be taking my business to Rivian next.
I haven't played this game in years. Did the devs ever implement bots into the game? Bots not only help you to practice, but it also seems to be rather paramount for when the servers inevitably go offline.
With the game unfortunately now being dead in the water, did anything change?
I have a 2025 elite Prologue, and last night I plugged the car in. I wake up this morning to the Hondalink app displaying incorrect numbers.
I've always charged to 90%, which yields about 267mi. This morning the app said it only charged to 74%, but it's still stating 267mi. I go out to the car, and it says 90% and 268mi.
Has anyone else seen incorrect displays within the app before? I generally use the Logue app, but it too was displaying the wrong number.
I'm coming upon my first year with the Prologue, and the tags are due for renewal next month. I have a 3year lease, and the vehicle's registration is stating $1213.70, which seems like an insane amount for something that I'm not financing.
I know EVs can bring with it increased registration fees, but this is higher than it was when I had my Tesla, and I was financing that car.
Has anyone else experienced incredibly high registration costs for their Prologue? My lease is through Honda financial.
I really want to play Hitman in VR, but there seems to be a ridiculous amount of bundles out there for it. Which one includes everything? IO interactive has made it rather difficult trying to rule out which is the complete package.
Has anyone upgraded to Android 14 that wasn't tied to a recall, or that didn't already come pre-installed?
I've been checking every few days for an update, and every single time the car tells me that no update exists beyond Android 12, and I'm starting to think that whatever build the Honda Prologue came with when you purchased it, that that's what it's designated to have going forward.
The last official update that my car received was over 2 years ago, April 2024. I took my car into Honda in March of this year for a tire rotation, and I told them to also update the software. They told me that no update was available.
Android 14 is rolling out to other GM built EVs, and it clearly exists for Honda Prologues, but unless anyone has actually upgraded to Android 14 that wasn't tied to a recall, I'm thinking we may be stuck with what was already in the Prologue to begin with.
I've been playing Pragmata, and it has absolutely been consuming what little free time I have. Being a father figure to the little girl in the story is not only refreshing, but having a game where the father figure isn't full of anger, and is guarded, and is full of grief (TLOU, GOW, etc), is a very welcome change of pace. The guy you play is legitimately happy interacting with Diana (the little girl), and there's not many games out there that fill the role of a parental figure that is actually happy at being a parent.
It's truly a breath of fresh air to be in the shoes of someone who's not constantly depressed all the time. I could definitely go for more games like this. 👍
I have a 3yr lease on a 2025 elite, so mine won't be up until 2028, but has anyone turned in their 2024 yet? I can't help thinking about the tires. I don't drive excessively or aggressively, and I keep up on the recommended tire rotations (only one needed so far at 10k miles), but I know these tires aren't cheap.
Did your tires hold out, or did you need to replace them? If they needed replacing and you chose not to replace them, what did Honda charge you? Is it cheaper to buy new tires, or pay Honda's fee?
