I have 1 year of experience as a Java Full Stack developer but was laid off due to company financial issues. I've been struggling to find a new job and am considering switching careers.
Would you recommend \*\*Salesforce\*\* or \*\*Generative AI\*\* for better long-term opportunities? Which would you choose if you were starting over today, and why?

Hi everyone,
I've been unemployed for the past 3 months after being laid off due to financial issues at my previous company. I have 1 year of experience as a Java Full Stack Developer (Spring Boot + Angular).
I'm applying for jobs but haven't been able to get freelance projects either. What would you recommend I do during this time so my career gap doesn't hurt my chances?
Would open source contributions or personal projects be enough, or is there something else recruiters value more?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
TCS DV on June 1, Still No Offer Letter – Anyone Else in the Same Situation?
I interviewed on may 11 in Bangalore Whitefield office.
I received my Document Verification (DV) on June 1, but I still haven't received my Offer Letter (OL). Is it safe to assume that I've been rejected, or is there still a chance I'll receive the offer?
I also know a few candidates who received their DV on May 3 and May 16 and are still waiting for their OL as well.
Am I the only one in this situation, or are there others here who are also waiting after completing DV?
Also, does anyone have any internal source or contact within TCS who might be able to check the status of my application or provide any information about the delay?

Completed DV on June 1 and still waiting for the Offer Letter.
Just checking if anyone else is in the same situation, or if most June 1 DV candidates have already received their OL.

Recently, I came to know that many candidates who completed Document Verification (DV) on 1st June have already started receiving their Offer Letters.
I gave interview for Digital role and java skill set.

I also completed my DV process on 1st June, but I have not received any update or Offer Letter yet.

Does anyone have any insider information or know if there is any delay in the Bangalore (Whitefield) location onboarding process?

Any updates would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi everyone,
I wanted to check with candidates from the May 11 joining batch. Have all eligible candidates received their offer letters yet?
I received the document verification email and completed the process, but I haven't received my offer letter so far. I'm trying to understand whether there are others in the same situation or if most people have already received theirs.
Please share your status:
Offer letter received?
Document verification completed?
Role/location (if available)?
Thanks!

Hi everyone,
I received my Document Verification (DV) mail from TCS on June 1 and submitted all the required documents on time.
A few of my friends also received their DV mails on the same date. One of them received his Offer Letter (OL) yesterday, but I haven't received mine yet.
Does receiving a DV mail mean that I'm selected, or is there still a chance of rejection at this stage?
Has anyone else faced a similar situation where their OL was delayed even after successful document verification? How long did it take for you to receive the OL?
Any insights would be appreciated. Thanks!
I'm currently working as a Full Stack Developer using Angular and Java Spring Boot.
I want to grow my career, learn in-demand technologies, and eventually move into higher-paying product companies.
My current skills:
* Java * Spring Boot * Angular * SQL * Git/GitHub
Given the current market, what should I learn next?
Should I focus on:
* Microservices * AWS/Cloud * Docker/Kubernetes * System Design * GenAI/LLMs/RAG * DevOps * Something else?
If you were in my position today, what roadmap would you follow for the next 6–12 months?
I'd appreciate advice from developers who have successfully transitioned to higher-paying roles or product-based companies.
Thanks!
I have 1 year of experience, and I’m currently facing a difficult situation with no job opportunities. I was laid off in March, and I still haven’t been able to find a new role as a Java, Spring Boot, and Angular developer.
I’m confused about whether I should continue in the same domain or start exploring other domains and technologies. I would really appreciate some proper guidance on what would be the best path forward for my career at this stage.
Hi everyone,
I have a TCS Digital interview coming up soon.
Can anyone who recently attended share what exactly was asked in your interview?
Especially:
* Coding questions
* Project-related questions
* HR questions
It would be really helpful if you could elaborate a little on the questions and how deep they went into the topics.
Thanks in advance!

TCS NextStep Application Deadline Doubt (3 Days Rule)
Hey everyone,
I recently received a mail from TCS after clearing the test round, asking me to complete my application form on the NextStep portal within 3 days.
The issue is, I submitted the form today, but I’m not fully sure if I crossed the 3-day deadline or if I’m still within the allowed time.
Has anyone faced a similar situation?
Does TCS strictly enforce the 3-day deadline?
Will late submission affect my candidature or chances?
Also, if it’s slightly late, should I mail their support explaining the reason?
Would really appreciate any guidance from people who’ve been through the TCS process.
Thanks!
