KCQ e-scooter won't turn on after 6 months

Hi there!

My KCQ e-scooter has been sitting unused for about 6 months, and now it won't turn on at all. I don't think the charger is the issue.

Has anyone had this happen before or know what I should try? Thanks a lot!

Studio smells bad from vent system (possibly from another unit) - anything I can do?

Hi, my studio has an automatic vent system and lately it’s been bringing in bad smells during the day (seems like from another unit, not mine). I'm not talking about normal cooking smell or anything; first time it appeared I went back to my place from an errand and almost puked. I already reported it to management.

I have 3 vents total, the smell seems to come from only one. Is there anything I can safely do to block or reduce the smell (filters, covers, etc.) without damaging the system or breaking lease rules?

Anyone dealt with this before? Thanks!

[Routine Help] Under-eye creases after rubbing eyes from allergies

I had a severe allergy flare-up for about a week and was rubbing my eyes constantly (both consciously and unconsciously). Since then, I've developed noticeable creases/wrinkles under my eyes that weren't there before.

Has anyone experienced this? Can they improve over time if they're caused by rubbing rather than aging? Any tips or products that helped?

Thanks!

Where to practice roller skating as a total beginner? Tips appreciated!

Hey everyone! I’m totally new to roller skating and looking for good places around Seattle where I can safely practice. Ideally somewhere flat and smooth, not super crowded (at least while I’m learning) and beginner-friendly vibes where I won't feel like getting in the way of people.

I’ve heard about a few parks and maybe some indoor rinks, but I’m not sure what’s actually best for someone just starting out.

Also would really appreciate any tips for learning basics faster! If you skate in Seattle, where did you start out? Any spots you recommend?

Thanks in advance!
