My pup keeps destroying things

Hello! I have a male Schipp that I absolutely adore, he’s my first dog, so getting into training him and such felt intimidating, but he knows basically everything, such as potty training, recall, even off the leash walking- the only downside is that he loves to destroy anything he can get his fangs onto…

Just for clarification, he is about to be a year old in 2 weeks, and also, he hasn’t been fixed yet(his appointment has been set for late August), so I’m not sure if this contributes to why he destroys things. My fiancé and I work full time, so what I do is take him on a one hour and thirty minute walk every morning(which gets him tired enough to calmly lounge once back home), and I play with him nonstop while letting my breakfast cook in the last hour I have before heading to work- then my fiance comes home before me and spends time with the two of them, but I feel bad because anytime we have anything unassuming out, he destroys it… even though he has a whole box of different textured toys and even at least two bully sticks laying around.

It’s been a really big issue since most of the things he’s destroyed have been my fiancé’s or something she bought for decor, and he and the kitten are limited to the living room when we’re gone. He’s destroyed expensive shoes of hers, a vase with flowers on the coffee table he knows he’s not supposed to be on, our kitten’s toys(he absolutely loves to ravage these ones for some reason, despite some of them being stronger than his toys???), and some more that I can’t immediately remember at the top of my head.

I know an answer I may be given is to keep him in his carrier or maybe get him a dog walker, but admittedly, I feel bad keeping him in a carrier all day while I work(especially since he’s potty trained and is good for the most part), and we also can’t afford a dog walker daily with the local rates we have. I’d like to believe we give him a lot of mental and physical stimulation, but I’m kind of at a loss for now.

How do I become a Journeyman apprentice?

Hello. I was just wondering how I could become a Journeyman apprentice(living in the CA Central Valley). Life has been really hard on my fiancé and I, so I’m looking to do construction to make ends meet for the both of us.

I have a friend who is a level 3 journeyman apprentice and he told me I can do something called a “graded test” where they have me do a physical labor test- and if I pass I am just brought on. The only part I’m confused about is the fact that he went through a year of workshops, all while I can just jump straight in? He told me they just teach you along the way, but I thought to ask about this part regardless.

I applied at my local union, but when I looked to apply to other ones in cities close by, all of them took me to the same application website, so I believe I applied to a network of unions. How long will the wait typically be?

I apologize if I’m not making any sense at all, I’m just unfamiliar with this field of work- as someone who originally wanted to become a doctor. I appreciate any and all advice, thank you.

Anyone else have scratches on their side skirt?

Hello, I was wondering if anyone else noticed how easy it is to get scratches on their side skirts? live in the California Central Valley, so it’s very bumpy and dirty out here.

It makes me feel better when I see other 370z in town with the same issue, but it still bothers me nonetheless. I’m thinking about getting side skirt guards, but nothing too low

Do you think I can buff this out?

Hello. I just bought a used 370z a not even a month ago, and already I got a pretty big cat scratch on it… and of course this is 2 days before the car cover I ordered is delivered… but do you think I could buff this out? Or I’d need to do some kind of improv-paint job? It may be hard to notice but it’s a bit more noticeable in person, and it really bothers me.

Which spoiler would look the best?

I’m looking at spoilers to purchase for my 370z touring, but I cannot decide which between the two would look best. Need some opinions!

Seller potentially sent the wrong person money and blocked me

Hello. I just have a very strange experience on FBM recently. I was selling a Nintendo switch oled(used), and a woman possibly in her 30’s said she was interested. For some reason she chatted to me in regular Facebook messages then marketplace messages, and showed interest in the item.

She didn’t really even try to lower the price, she just asked if that was the final price and I said yes. She then asked where I was located- I said Modesto, and she said she was from Arizona, but I let her know I don’t mind shipping, and asked if she can do Zelle. She then asked me what my email was for Zelle, but I explain to her I only have my number associated with my account, but she asked for email regardless and sent me a screenshot of a text box that would confirm if I was a legitimate seller I guess?

I ended up just adding my email to my Zelle account to make it easier for her, and eventually she said she sent me the money upon confirming I was legitimate. I was confused when I checked my account though, as I saw no money was sent, even though sending money to another person is supposed to be instant. I went to inform her I haven’t received the money, and asked if it was under the name I gave her, but I received no response. I waited a bit longer, and then decided to click her account- only to see I had gotten blocked for some reason 😅.

I texted her on my alt account(which I admittedly use for low-balling), letting her know it was me, and that I explained to her I didn’t receive anything, and she needs to check if she sent it to me. She seemed like she was distressed and asked me to check my spam and junk folders in my email one last time, only for me to tell her there was nothing, which ended in her leaving me on read and blocking my alt account.

I’m honestly just confused because I’m not sure if she sent the money to the wrong person, or if the transfer might take a few days- but correct me if I’m wrong, isn’t the transfer instant? Also, I know I seemed persistent with contacting her, but I had really wanted to sell the item, and she was willing to pay full price, so I wanted to see if maybe I could still have a chance at selling the item- but I guess not :/

Drivers side seat switches don’t function

Hello. I had recently bought a 370z, and everything about it is perfect besides the driver’s side switches. The previous owner claimed he didn’t drive it much, so he isn’t sure what it could be, but let us know it didn’t function.

Upon looking at it and toying with it, I cannot tell what the issue could be. It’s weird because the recliner switch works momentarily if you flick it extremely fast, but the switch to move the seat forward and back does not do anything. The passenger side works if anyone is wondering.

I’m thinking maybe I should remove the switch and open it up to potentially clean it, but I don’t want to accidentally break something if there is nothing to clean.

21 with no auto insurance

Hello. As the title says, I am a 21 year old Californian driver who does not have access to auto insurance at the moment. Previously I had relied on my mother, but as of recent our relationship has soured and she’s completely cut me off. I don’t really have any other family members to fully rely on- I also can’t afford to be paying insane rates.

So with that being said, does anyone know any good insurance companies I can go for? Even the really small ones- I’m that desperate. I have only went ahead and gotten a quote for progressive(seeing that it was ranked as one of the cheaper ones), but my quote entails that I’d be paying $120 a month. I’d prefer to keep it below $100 a month, and have it only be covering liability. I have also never been in a crash or gotten a single ticket for the 4 years that I have been driving for.

Sorry if I don’t make sense or I sound dumb- I was never prepared for anything like this, so needing to do this so suddenly feels very overwhelming.

My rent payment didn’t go through

Hello! I’m not sure if I should be super worried or not, but it’s been about over a week since I “paid” rent. The reason why rent is in quotations is because admittedly, I struggled a bit last month due to a family situation and was just barely able to pay my rent by over $30 I believe. It usually takes AT MOST 3 days for the rent to process when I submit it, so during that time the funds are still available.

With that being said, during those four days, my fridge of course got empty during the process, so I just said “fuck it” and bought groceries, which meant I’d be $100 short. I was ok with this though because I’ve been brought down to the negatives once another time and rent still got deducted from my account, so I expected the same and kept grinding, anticipating the dip- but obviously that didn’t happen.

I was out with my wife, and we were walking our dog, when we came across a little food stand, and I was VERY hungry, as well as my wife. This was exactly a week after my rent amount was submitted, so I decided to go on my banking app to see if I can get us both food, and to put some of my savings to cover the negative dip temporarily. I am greeted with my main menu, seeing that I STILL had the hundreds that were supposed to go to rent. I was shocked and immediately checked my purchase history. Literally nothing appeared beyond the groceries, so this left me extremely puzzled(I ended up buying the street food if you guys were wondering).

Once we got home I logged into my resident portal and saw that the rent was indeed marked as complete, saying I had 0 balance owed. A few days have passed since I’ve triple checked everything and there hasn’t been a peep from my landlord or the property company that manages the payments. I’m not sure if I should remain cautious or not, as I can’t tell if this is a thing where once I DO have the amount it’ll charge me- but I just wanted to look into what anyone had to say about this, and if this is happened to anyone as well.

(Also, this is my little pup in case anyone is wondering).

Edit: hello, everyone! I have read and gone through many responses, and so I decided to just go to the management company to get it sorted out. I ended up paying the full amount of rent with no late-fee, so everything has been resolved. Thank you everyone for taking the time to give me advice !

Hello. I’m currently looking to buy a 2010 Nissan 370z(clean title with 90K miles) over here in California, and I ended up finding one that I really like that the seller is selling for $9000(someone please tell me if this is normal pricing or not). I ask questions like normal on if it works, and if there are any issues- he tells me it’s completely functional besides the seatbelts. Both seatbelts are locked and cannot be used. He claims they locked after the car was hit while it was parked, just that it was never reported to insurance. I’m assuming he made a private deal with the person who hit him- I’ve done the same before when someone hit me just so it doesn’t affect my rates.

I’m going to ask him how bad it was hit and where, since it must’ve been heavy of a hit enough to activate the mechanism, as the car itself looks immaculate. It looks like it doesn’t even have a dent, let alone a scratch. I requested the Vinn and looked at vehicle info- which looked about right and had 0 red flags. I really like this car- but in not sure if I should really consider this a setback. This is going to be my first time buying a sports car, so I just want to make sure I’m going about this safely. Thank you.

Edit: From what the seller claims, the passenger side door was hit, hitting the fender and the front light on that side.

Edit 2: Thank you to those who politely responded. I’ll probably check out the car, but have a mechanic look at it just to be really safe.

Hello! As the title suggests, I’m asking for advice on how to sign up for an auto loan. I am currently in a situation where I desperately need a car to be able to commute to and from work, as my previous had finally kicked the bucket on me. Very bad timing, as I was just left in debt by my mother, but I’d rather not discuss that. I have a close friend who is willing to sell me a really nice car for $7000, which is a third of the value that it’s usually priced at- and has been personally maintained by him. He has some customers waiting on it, and so told me I’d probably need to do it asap since he doesn’t want to keep it on hold for too long in case I really can’t purchase it, so I’m looking to sign up for an auto loan- which I will pay off in full by the end of this year.

If it helps at all: I have a bank account with Capital One, I am 21 years old, I’ve been driving for four years, and I have a credit score above 750.

I apologize if this post is written oddly or I’m providing unneeded info- I currently have no support from either of my parents, and they didn’t put in any effort to ready me for success, which makes it so that a lot of these things are extremely unfamiliar to me, so I appreciate all of your patience. Thank you.
