My vial only is 3ml. I am going to take 15 units. I saw somewhere adding more Bac helps prevent the sting. Do I pill the 15 units then just add more Bac directly into the syringe? 5 more units? Or 15? How much? I'll also let it get to room temp.
Also, I heard the cartridge type needle (don't know the right name) might be better for the burn. Anyone have any experience with that and the syringe that can give a comparison?

This little guy came to my feeder today and they're usually pretty skittish when I'm out here but he stayed close to me. He looks a little rough. (The thing on his beak is bird shell I think) Does he look roughed up, or is he sick? Or just old? (Or just super young so doesn't know better?). He ate, drank and now is asleep on the edge of the feeder 3 feet near me. Which for a wild bird def is unusual.
I think he is eating from the edge of his beak as well.
If they all have 5 stars, which one should I keep? (Or 2) Gwen, Lynn or Bradley? (I'm only as far as S7)

Just kidding. But for real, I've seen multiple fly up to these 2 feeders over the past few weeks and they investigate all over but can't seem to find the flowers/nectar. I make sure it's not got air bubbles and so is right up to the edge of the holes, it's fresh stuff every few days. Are these known for being unintuitive feeders for them?
