My girlfriend and I were in Escondido so we drove to Sombrero for dinner for my 40th birthday! Afterwards we stopped by Tom’s childhood home so I could climb the light pole. Loved making the blink pilgrimage for my birthday lol
Visited family for five days and came home to these Golden Teachers completely covered in spores. Any signs to look out for deciding if these are not safe to eat? I tried washing a few, but that felt like a lesson in futility lol
The first picture was Thursday when I left for a trip. Got back today and saw they exploded while I was gone and sporulated. 525g wet. These things are huge.
This is my first time growing B+ and I’m curious if the squishy almost marshmallow texture base is typical. My GTs I harvested a week ago didn’t have this outer layer of marshmallow like texture.
