I've been having an issue throughout my original attempts of trying the game, and now my first playthrough of Pacific Drive, where my tools auto-equip themselves. I am already past the point of >!Tobias' Death !<and have finally lost my patience. I need to know: Bug, Setting, Or anti-piracy countermeasure?

Note: I love the game, and have supported the developers by buying it on sale for a friend recently. But my own copy is pirated.

Despite my enjoyment of the game, I have spent more time solo than I have in multiplayer, and the one time I tried to play with friends, none of them would water my crops if they played without me so I'd always come back to absolutely fuck all.

I plan to play with a group in essentially an open 'we play on this specific day(s)' schedule, and am worried that my farming will be redundant if I take a break and have no one to help.

So.. How do you handle it? Any plugins or somethin'?
