Accommodation Reccs (Sem 2 2027 intl Student 21M)

Ok so i know this has been asked time and time again, but I literally have never rented or lived by myself before, and i wanna get all these accommodation worries away while I can.

I'm from Singapore and I'll be starting in August 2 (Sem2 2027) as an undergrad. I'm really really not that picky about sharing or whatever, I had to go through two years of the military sharing everything with like 8 people, so I'm quite used to those share house type situations. (And a lot of cleaning)

I just want some place near USYD's business campus and as cheap as possible for value, as well as as transparent of a pricing/fees as it can be.

I initially thought in-campus accom would work, but I read that it's rather competitive (and you might not get to stay for all years), and I'd wish to expand my choices before submitting to the In-Uni landlords.

Free to discuss accom with anybody ig, any advice would also be appreciated.

May the landlords have mercy on us.

Keychron v3 Max, backlight is just gone

So yeah I bought it in like 2025 December and just recently the backlight seems to have just mysteriously died.

Like its always plugged in, all keys are registered but the backlight is completely dead, firmware update, factory reset, attempting to change via VIA, pressing all matter of button combinations etc.

Nothing works. Its dead, not a single speck of backlight is shown, any ideas or tips, or will I have to replace smthn?

Razer naga v2 hyper fixed my weird ahh grip

Wanted to get a wireless mouse that had the same if not more buttons than the g502 hero, including left click buttons, has free scroll, a ring finger support (cuz of my grip), and wasn't too light (I prefer heavier mice), and is the same if not bigger size.

That brought me to the keychron m6, or naga v2 (pro/hyper).

Luckily, my local country has a popular tech store that displays just about every popular mouse from established brands out there, allowing me to test most models.

I chose the hyper instead of the pro, since I found out due to my grip and large thumbs, I actually bypass all the buttons when gripping for an fps like CS2 or hunt showdown, therefore the swapable plates wasn't necessary.

Not only that, but the ability to pop the top off really helps with cleaning, I also prefer a rechargeable battery over having to charge it via usbc (cuz then I'd just be using it wired.)

The side buttons are actually quite well sculpted and designed, which despite my large thumbs, can actually hit the buttons I want with relative ease.

Overall with how large my grip is, and how fat my thumbs are, I actually find it really comfortable, kinda opposite to what some people think.

The only thing I really don't like is how sensitive the right clicks are, but I mean its not that big of an issue for me, since right click usually just pops my scope.

I've also sent a pic of my weird ass grip angle from my previous mouse, not an exxageration btw, for some cursed reason my grip on the g502 when aiming is horribly unergonomic due to my ring finger and thumb controlling the mouse, and any other normal grip would cause misclicks due to my large thumbs (mouse 4 and 5)

Hope this review helps any1 with a large thumb like me.

Temple jerk

So yeah the title is self explanatory, well it's not me who did it.

My friend who was this desperate bloke managed to bag a girl , last night he spent the whole night roaming around the town , he called his girl and went near her house and they were lingering around the temple at around mid night , these fucks decided to go in and they got a bit too hormonal and he ended making out with her (his first kiss btw) then she proceeded to give him a hand job and he just jizzed on the temple floor.

Post nut clarity hit him like a bullet train , the thing is that the Temple is like the one of the most visited places of our town , people all over India come and visit this temple and he managed to get his unborn children blessed.

He's been having this crippling guilt and since he doesn't use reddit he wanted me to share his story and wanted to look for some advice.

Please drop your thoughts if you may.

To the ones who are saying it's me , nope it ain't, he uses his dads old phone casue like he lost his previous one , he couldn't bring himself to post so I had to for him.

Unable to update bios to .112, bitlocker is gone, quick settings button not working.

Alright I have alot of issues since receiving my claw 8 from an RMA.

Essentially the issue was a hardware trigger, they fixed it and unplugged/replugged the battery.

This caused bitlocker to trigger And I disabled it.

That's the first thing, now not only is my bios stuck at 10D, where trying to restart and update bios brings me to the bios update screen, but then it immediately exits.

Device manager shows a danger warning and says it couldn't install the .112.

Now another issue is that pressing and holding quick settings does nothing, it doesn't work anymore.

Not sure how to fix this, I've tried an ec reset and clean reinstall of centre M.

My bitlocker is also just gone, it doesn't appear anymore and I'm not sure which or which is causing a problem.

I need help guys.

Claw 8 ai unable to press and hold quick settings key.

Sent my claw for service to repair a broken RT, its fixed Now but they removed the battery and bitlocker kicked in.

Somehow messed up MSI centre And now my quick settings key doesn't work anymore, pressing and holding doesn't pop up the alt tab.

Don't think its the repair people's fault since its not a hardware issue, just stuck on how to fix this.

Additionally unable to update bios to .112.

Worries on math as a pre-requisite

Ill be studying the bachelor of commerce in 2027 and I plan to major in finance.

USYD said they removed any math pre requisites and that there's this coursera course to teach calculus (differentiation & integration) if you didn't have that knowledge.

But is this course really enough? I got an A* in IGCSE Maths but i didn't study calculus.

I think I'm capable of studying and understanding the maths, and I'm at about 80% done w the coursera course.

I'm just worried that they'll expect me to know more than I can handle and there won't be campus resources to help me.
