Rereading chapters 140-141, I still feel like there is something wrong here with accepting Genos’ Kuseno as the mad cyborg Kuseno.

See the scenes I posted. Kuseno doesn’t have much reason to be so genuinely dramatic for his fake death, telling Genos to run away even as reverse psychology feels a little weird, and more than that, his inner thoughts makes him seem to genuinely worry about Genos (and he sure has no reason to lie in his thoughts).

Also his body is clearly not that of a cyborg/robot? nobody else in the organization has a biological body, so once again that’s weird.

The Mad Cyborg has been shown to be strongly disconnected from humanity, he even specifies he doesn’t bother with unimportant details like memories. He doesn’t come off as someone that would try this hard to be nice to Genos.

Maybe it’s really just an intended fakeout, but I wouldn’t be surprised if we have a little plot twist that Genos’ Kuseno was genuine.

Also I’m not ”coping”, I have no problem with Kuseno being a full blown Aizen-type asshole. Just picking out on details that bothers me.

I can see two options:

- it’s the og Kuseno or a clone that went rogue. And was too ashamed to admit the truth to Genos.

- it’s an android really sent by the mad cyborg except he made him lose his memories to make him genuinely « good » to fool Genos better

Here is a random project I worked on recently, as a little challenge of what I can do on Ipad for a printable figure (I recently bought a FDM printer): it’s a 3d fanart/recreation of Rena’s sprite from the original Visual Novel.

I honestly haven’t really decided what I should do with it, not sure if there is even much demand. Still calling it a wip for now since I could refine it more depending on what I do with it, maybe even try doing the other expressions, pose and outfit…

comparisons jokes aside, even Deen’s previous productions never had hair this detailed, this is the first time they’re as close in design and detailed as the original sprites.

And I say this as a bigger fan of Higurashi lmfao.
