Is there anyone in this group who has successfully published an app? What did you do and what steps did you take? Was it through Google Cloud Run, or did you add it to the Android App Store, or something else? What would you recommend for a beginner?
I sometimes hear a notification sound with a tone I don’t recognize. It’s like a four tone signal that happens twice. I check my iPhone and it either has the notifications I saw already but haven’t cleared yet or it will have no notifications. I heard the same sound effect when I downloaded something, so I’m a bit confused. Is there a way to check a notification history?
I have two certificates in UI/UX design. I have done one design challenge, and did a few practice projects of my own, and had one job experience where I designed a communications dashboard for the company. I feel like I don’t have enough experiences to show on my portfolio and my resume for that matter, but I’m curious to know where is a good place to find UI/UX jobs and what are the best strategies that are involved in that job search.
I’m also experienced in web design and graphic design, but have more interest in web design and UI/UX design. With web design jobs it feels a little more challenging because it seems like they’re directed more to other programs besides WordPress, or that it’s focused on marketing positions without the more creative processes. I also did a lot of web design in my last job where I mainly did graphic design. The trouble is once you’ve updated everything on the website, there’s not much to work with for web design.
Can anyone give any suggestions?
I just bought this new leader hose and adapter to connect to the hose reel, but it is leaking from where they connect. I have tried tightening it with a wrench. What can I do?
I have a number of different bushes in front of the house and some animal keeps crawling behind them at night and pooping in the dirt behind them. Occasionally I’ll find poop in random places in the front yard and back yard. In the middle of the night I’ve sometimes heard a noise, but it doesn’t sound like a neighborhood cat, even though I have seen one walking around. I have occasionally seen a fox in the neighborhood too. I sprayed some “Repels All” that I bought from the store, and the repellent really stinks, but it doesn’t appear to be working because I found more poop behind the bushes. I’ve thought about putting rocks in the dirt behind the bushes to keep anything out. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I have this hard drive I use for my Mac and I noticed when I copy a folder to my Windows PC it has files that start with “._[filename]” and the icons are greyed out. They’re like duplicates of the files that are already on there but they don’t do anything. What are these files?
I’m just asking because I’m seeing it in several subreddits where people post several paragraphs with exactly three line breaks between each one.
From a writing standpoint, there’s no reason you need that many because 1 line break is enough. I don’t think it’s a trend, but it could be, sort of like how people write (M28) or (F31) to describe their gender and their age. I’m seeing way too many similarities in grammar and writing styles between posts that each time I look at one I can’t help but wonder if the post is fake.
