Im curious how combat sports would be viewed in relationship to the themes of this story?

ive been practicing martial arts for quite sometime and i believe that it can be a powerful tool for the betterment of oneself in many aspects. But outside of that theres also the sport aspeect of it(MMA, Muay Thai, Boxing, etc.). I feel like alot of people would feel that combat sports would be seen in the negative according to the themes and messages of this story. It honeslty doesnt feel like fighting in this consext is the same as violence, obviously there often is an egioc drive for dominance and power with some people who persue that, but it could be seen in another way, at its purist, mutual combat could be seen as two individuals consenting to put everything on the line both physically, mentally, and even spiritually, in the persuit of creating an almost beautiful moment of tenchique out of love for the art, as well as mastery of a craft that they both dedicated there lives to, despite the risks associated with it. im curious what you guys think.

Does your Sangha necessarily have to be at a temple, or monastery?

Sangha technically translates to "community of practitioners". And the ones in my local community have honestly left me in want as far as the community part goes. In all the ones ive been to in my local community, your usually only interacting with the teacher through QandA during and after there done with there lecture, and then everybody just goes about there day. Seems kinda lonely. A truly great sangha seems to be one that makes you feel needed, valued, cared for, and irreplicable. and it doesn't feel like its easy to find that with the dynamic that's currently present with them. So I'm thinking of finding people who agree with me on this, and setup a group that actively tries to create a space where those things can flourish.

Anybody know where i can find good quality kimono-inspired cardigans for relatively cheap?

I just always loved Japanese fashion. Being a westerner i find myself searching for apparel that acts as a good compromise. I think Kimono inspired cardigans look pretty dope, and are pretty versatile. i think they'd really add something to my wardrobe, esppecially since summers coming up. im trying to find non-scamy websites i could look through that wont break my bank.

Im looking for Earthy / Japanese-inspired / tea-and-wood deodorant, cologne etc.

Ive always been drawn to the more tea, cedar, temple incense style scents and was wondering if anybody had anything in mind.

From the therapists I've been to it just seems like they don't really take much effort in making it clear from the get-go exactly what their role is in relationship to the path, how they should be viewed, what separates them from a friend or mentor etc., discussing what progress looks like, how/when the relationship is supposed to end, what exactly is therapy? what is it not? how do you know its working? and so on. I could see a situation were a person enters into a therapeutic relationship and doesn't really know what they're getting into and ends up in an indefinite dependance to someone who isn't a good fit and they aren't making any progress with. Is this normal? cause if it is that seems like a problem.

My little brother is 12 years old and has adhd, but he wants to learn how to make games, i do too. from the advice ive gathered online taking the CS50 course is a good foundation for the basics and after that looking through the Godot docs seems like a good place to start. But my little brother will likely struggle to follow along with a course like that, i guess im just wondering if maybe theres maybe some other resources for kids available that will teach the basic stuff in a fun way or maybe another way altogether. i dont know if you guys got some advice id appreciate it.
