For those of us only buying one version of Lemonade...
which one we going with? They are all pretty incredible looking.

Got a 26 Pro-X with the all-terrain Hankook 17s. I'm not only new to the Frontier but I'm new to bigger tires like this. They are all inflated to 41 psi but the door (and display) suggest they be 36. Max psi on tire is 51. Anyway, is 41 too high or is it just fine?
Purchased the truck last night but too late for the dealer to detail - so going back tomorrow most likely. Bed is kinda dirty and noticed some dirt build-up at the front near the cab. tried to brush away and a couple of thin pieces of the liner came off and kinda left a gap.
Never had a spray-in liner before but this seems like it would be a problem maybe?
The original salesman worked with me and gave me what I think is a good deal. Reached out to 2nd dealer to see if quote could be beat but they didn't get back to me until AFTER the OG dealer ran my credit. I all but planned with on coming in this evening to the OG dealer to get the truck (nothing has been signed save for a credit check).
2nd dealer came back with not only a (little) better offer but with a truck that has way more options. I would keep negotiating but the OG dealer doesn't have this truck with all the features of 2nd dealer.
Anyway, how is this best handled? Do I just text OG salesman and say sorry I found a better deal and going elsewhere - sorry to lead you on? I know I'm supposed to be ruthless and worry about what's best for me but still......
Posted yesterday about my issue with Tacoma pricing and started looking into the Frontiers. Yesterdays post. Thanks to all who commented! Anyway - this will be my last car I ever drive (hopefully.) So, resale value isn't an issue.
Today, I drove an SV (4x2) and a Pro-X (4x2) loved both but leaning towards the Pro-X. The sticker price is: $42,8XX. They took out a few packages I didn't want (like SG connect) and added a discount - those took off about $6,000, bringing it down to roughly $36,7XX. Of course taxes took it to an out-the-door price of 41K.
The SV OTD is $39,6XX
I've not signed or committed to anything.
Does this seem like a fair price? I know the better deal is probably going 4x4 but I really just don't need it and is certainly (to me) not worth the $2-3k extra.
Got a out-the-door price on a near-base 26 Tacoma SR of $40K (only added package was basically a blind-spot alert package and, I kid you not, an illuminated front logo.)
Locally some Nissan dealerships are offering $5K off of the Frontier Pro-X, bringing a couple of the trucks down to $38K (minus all the tax and stuff). I don't need a truck... I WANT a truck. This will be a "pavement princess." Am I crazy in considering a Pro-X simply because of how it offers monumentally more than the base-ish Tacoma?
I know I'm asking this in a Frontier forum but I love getting opinions from all over. And yes, I know I should get a car if I don't need this stuff but I've been driving a station wagon for 15 years so I need this. 😄
Found the closest to that this weekend in an SR Crew 2WD that only had 1 added package (blind spot crapola and illuminated logo...like, for real!?) making it $38,000. Dude was able to come off a little over $4,200....which after taxes (and doc fees) would, well, at least keep it at $38,000 going out the door. He handed me the printout of the breakdown of costs and saw they added another $2,000 on some toyota protection package, that I don't know, tracked the car if it was stolen or something. He added that it was non-negotionable.
When he gave me the numbers it was the first I had even heard of such a thing. By that time, I kinda zoned out and was halfway out the door - mentally and physically. I get a few answers online - but what actually more does this protection package do? And is it in fact non-negotionable.
$40k for a near stripped down truck is just hard to swallow. But I know that it's just the world we live in now.
