Can't figure out how to upload IRL rides from Strava into Zwift, despite reading and following instructions online supposedly showing how to do this.

Basically, everything I have found online indicates that in order to do this, you have to first export the *.fit file into a third party app that shares with Zwift (Wahoo, Garmin) and then link your third party app to Zwift. When I search online, all of the seemingly most authoritative sources (including reddit) seem to either refer to this set of instructions or something essentially the same:

https://zwiftinsider.com/import-strava-to-zwift/

However, when I do this, I can (apparently) successfully link the accounts, and download the *fit file from Strava and even upload the activity to the third party app (I've tried BOTH Wahoo and Garmin) but, despite the assurances of the instructions in the link above, the activity never populates to my Zwift activity log.

Do I need to toggle some additional permission? Do I need to explicitly "share" the activity once I have it in the third party app?

I already have a Wahoo account that tracks my activity, because I am using the Kickr Core 2 for my trainer I use for Zwift, but previously the accounts weren't linked. If I link them, will my activites appear twice in Zwift, once as a Zwift ride and once as a Wahoo ride?

I am so confused. All I want to do is to have all of my activity showing up on Zwift, but I can't seem to figure out what I am doing wrong.

What's your country's favorite foreign cuisine

Mexican food is probably the most popular foreign cuisine in the US, but there are definitely strong competitors. What us it in your country? Are foreign cuisines even widely available where you live? Are there multiple different cuisines that are widely eaten, or just a few?

Just started Zwifting in October. Took me this long to figure out why you maniacs are riding around staring at screens on your handlebars.

It always seemed pretty unsafe to do so, and probably represented a big decrease in aerodynamics, to boot.

Anyway, just did my first "workout" and it all clicked. Plus now I know what you all mean when you are talking about turning "erg" on or off.

The more you know.

Newbie question about drops

Is there somewhere on the app, the companion app or on the website where I can track how many drops were earned on each ride in my history? When I ask this question in Google I see it is available on the ride summary after each ride, but I want to look back in time if possible.

Big FTP increase after switching to clipless vs. flats

So, I bought an inexpensive used bike to specifically be my trainer on my Kickr Core II. I ride MTB irl, and I was using a full-suspension bike on it which was sub-optimal for many reasons, including just the chore of moving it off and re-mounting the rear wheel if I wanted to rude it.

The new bike is a hardtail, and has a less aggressive geometry than my downhill full-suspension bike it replaced. It also had crappy pedals, and since I had heard that clipless pedals are more efficient, I splurged and added clipless pedals (and new bike shoes).

The first ride on Zwift, I noticed a huge change. I was easily tolerating at least one gear higher at the same cadence as before and my average wattage jumped about 20w and Zwift bumped my FTP up 10w.

I'm inclined to chalk this up to the pedals, but maybe it was moving to a hardtail (I locked out the suspension on the old bike) or some other factor of the geometry (? Hard to evaluate).

Is this a typical experience when moving away from flats?
