My son’s 1981 K10 vin# comes back as a Suburban. Has anyone else experienced this problem, and does it mess up with getting the title transferred?

Son’s 1981 k10. Has anyone on here had a problem with the vin # not matching the truck. His vin# comes back as a suburban. Any help appreciated.
