This game is an absolute hidden gem. It’s a super cozy low stakes game with tons of exploration and secrets to find, lots of wacky characters, collection quests, 40+ minigames, and more.

If you love short games made with passion and love that respect your time please give this one a chance.

The game is so unknown that this was the ONLY review I could find on YouTube.

Demon Turf is an incredibly fluid 3D Platformer with super tight controls. If you enjoyed Mario’s movement options in Odyssey, you’ll love the movement options in Demon Turf.

So first off I realize that “Nox’s” is a play on the word noxious, but it also implies that the bayou and beast are actually named after someone else. Much like the Frankenstein’s monster debate where the monster’s name isn’t actually Frankenstein, because Frankenstein is referring to the name of the creator of the monster.

So who is Nox?

I just noticed this vocal outtake left in the game. I think it’s so funny when things like this accidentally go unnoticed by the developers. Did anyone else notice this flub while playing?

I’ve been waiting for this one to go on sale for a while. So happy to finally get to play this masterpiece again.

I’m having a hell of a time with the Weathervane boss that you’re supposed to use the Wind element on. It seems incredibly inconsistent whether or not my wind actually makes the weathervane spin or not . It seems completely luck based. Not to mention that I keep constantly dashing into holes in the ground. I barely beat this boss the first time after using 2-3 potions, but this re-fight with the Aether version seems impossible. I can’t get it to spin enough to fall down to attack it. There has to be a more consistent way to do this.

I like being able to upgrade your elemental abilities with the various upgrade materials, but the gem system seems tedious and unnecessary. What is the point of only being able to equip a single upgrade gem if I can just pause and change it every time I change elements? It just adds an unnecessary layer of friction to the experience.

Before anyone tells me, I already know that this is a case of optimizing the fun out of the game and that you don’t NEED to use the gems to beat the game.

Does anyone know where to find the Earth element upgrade material in the desert? I’ve found the other element upgrade materials easily through basic exploration, but the Earth element upgrade material is eluding me.
