I'm trying to understand the V14 levels system and it's breaking my mind

[system agnostic] but in case system-based vision rules might mess with it I'm using PF2e

I've been experimenting with different settings and setups on how to add levels to a scene I'm trying to set up, but just can't get it to work the way I need it to, which is (I think) a fairly standard use case.

I'm trying to set up the situation on the attached beautiful painting I have made. What I'm trying to achieve (numbers correspond to the pictures, picture 0. is just explanation):

  1. Anyone within the house can't see the other level at all (or maybe things outside the terrace area only be it looking up or down, in case that is easier).
  2. Anyone on or under the terrace can see stuff that is outside of the terrace.
  3. Anyone outside of the terrace area can see onto either the terrace or whoever is below the terrace, but not inside of the other floor.

(green line: can see it; red line: can't see it; blue line: however it is easier to do in Foundry)

What I have at my disposal is a separate map of the ground and top floor, the top floor map has a version where everything outside of the terrace area is see-through.

SF2e Anachronism Automation module is now updated to work on the SF2e system too!

Hello Starfinders!

I created the SF2e Anachronism Automation module a while back with a few nice automation features for the system. Now that the full release of the actual Foundry System is out, I made it so it is compatible with that too (while keeping the anachronism compatibility in case someone still needs that).

Just a small refresher on it's functions if you are interested (also readable on it's github page):

  • Macro for: Envoy's Get 'Em! and Mystic's Transfer Vitality
  • Mystic automatically recharges their vitality network points in combat.
  • Operative Kill Steal feat reminder
  • A general automation for the environmental protection of Starfinder armours (through two macros, one to toggle it and one to recharge it)

You can find the module on the official Foundry VTT marketplace (it is completely free, however donations to my ko-fi, literally even just a few bucks is a godsend <3)

Foundry page

Edit: as someone asked I'll very humbly put my kofi link here too, only donate what you won't miss!

I don't know what else to add, I didn't play much but I'm sure this is weird (medium sized map, standard civ amount, balanced starting positons)
