Looking for a central listing of jobs

Is anyone aware of there is a website that is specifically to list non-profit jobs? A centralized way to search for openings. I still look at individual companies, but it would be so helpful if there was a site where non profits list.

I came across some while googling but they seemed a little fishy and the filters were limited.

Currently in a small setting and applying to a massive organization

Good morning!

I’ve been with a small business for over a decade. My executive counts for 3-4 executives at times hahaha. Most recently, he opened a new business with a business partner, so now I also provide executive support for his partner and in both company settings.

I take care of a multitude of tasks, administrative, executive, clinical, operational, and even personal assistant tasks. The problem is we’ve never had to use the formal terms when it comes to the position.

I recently applied for an Executive Coordinator position with a big company. I have a phone screening coming up. I haven’t talked to anyone in the company yet. I only submitted my application. This will be the first time I have a verbal conversation and I am really nervous. It has been over a decade since I interviewed, and let alone for such an important role. Because we didn’t need to use formal terms, I fear I won’t be eloquent about describing my tasks or how I speak about myself in association with the task and terminology.

I know I don’t have the experience working at a big company as an EC, but I know I have the skills to transfer my experience to this new setting, and adapt quickly. I’m so scared I will trip over my words and end up rambling. I have done tons of research and are going over my tasks and experience, practicing how to describing them using STAR.

Just feels horrible feeling confident you can thrive in that position, but being weak on how to sell your skills. I am having major confidence issues.

I could use a pep talk. Have any of you moved from a small business owner to a big organization? Could you share your experience?

Thank you!

Cameras

Hello!

We have land without electricity. We would like to place cameras to monitor the area. We’ve had trash dumped, and things missing.

What are our best options? Thanks!

Hello! Could she be some type of terrier?

Hi there. This little girl was abandoned at a gas station. She was full of fleas. I thought she was maybe 8 weeks old. She is way too agile for an 8 week old pup, though. She is way more agile than our other small dog, so I went back to thinking 8-9 weeks old but probably has some type of breed in her that makes her really good at jumping. Hahaha

Some friends thought she might have terrier in her. Thoughts?

She is 4.30 lbs and is very long. Her ears are huge, and her tail really long (but I have one with a short tail and one with a curled tail so maybe I’m just not used to the long straight tail).

What do you guys think?

Cross bars and roof carrier

If my car came with those cross bars (pic 1) , do I need anything else to install that crate carrier (pic2)?

I was watching g some videos and some people were buying cross bars to put them on top of these, on the sides.

How are people getting approached for positions at companies they didn’t apply to?

I’ve seen some posts saying how the person was approached by a company and offered a job because they thought they seemed like a good fit. How? Where are these people posting their information? And how are these companies, or recruiters? Finding them?

The only time I was offered a job before the position was even posted was because I was a volunteer with the organization.

Tell me, please. I’d love to be approached with opportunities haha. Thanks!

How did my “location” when I search the web on my phone puts me in Nepal?!?!

This is hilarious and really annoying at the same time.

I was checking out a website I shop from about once a year. The price next to the items were not showing in US dollars, not even dollars. They were Nepali Rupees!

I check my contact info, my profile, my shipping address, my billing address, it all showed US. Then I found a screen where it said Nepal. Then I lost that page, after lots of clicks and back and forth, I found that page again and changed it to US. It still wouldn’t take the rupees out. I changed browsers and it finally started working and eventually refreshed on the other browser.

Then I go to another website, it does the same thing. Every time I log into a site, it is putting me in Nepal! lol why?!

Just a bit ago, I googled something and the little google message asking if I want to log into or use the AI (a small pop up at the bottom of the phone screen) was in another language because it assumes I’m in Nepal! 🤣🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭😭

I doesn’t seem to be an issue when I use my computer though.
