Cooler Basket Too Short
Howdy fixers. I need a good jerry rig. I bought a new cooler but the manufacturer doesn't have baskets for this model. Found some generic ones online that looked like they might fit but they're about a half inch too short for the tabs to sit on the shelf of the cooler.
I can probably just cut the top bar of the wire basket and bend it so it's a little wider and that would work, there's clearance up above for the angle change and it doesn't need a ton of structural integrity but I would rather not have to destroy it to make it work. Anybody have any ideas for a way I can extend the tabs a half inch or so?
