Hello adopt me community, i feel like this has been discussed over the course of several weeks (maybe longer) but i thought id put in my two cents for any other people who might be feeling the same as me.

I know people have been talking about the updates, and how everything is getting too complicated and rushed and the mini games are harder to achieve. There’s is also the talk about the bots and how them farming has ruined the game, and values as well, etc etc.

And here is my 2 cents id have to say i…

Agree.

You people make a lot of good points from both sides. Yes there are a lot of things that could be potentially ruining this game, but there is also things that devs can and can’t control.

Im not really disagreeing with anybody. But i do have to say its definitely made me take a double look.

By this i mean, I’ve been playing adopt me for a lonnggg time, (with breaks lol). When i was younger i played adopt me when it was just a family roleplaying game like a lot of you have.

But my favorite game to play was (…) cant say due to cross trading rules but…

Im saying this because here is the comparison im going to make. As a kid playing these 2 favorite games of mine…i got hacked in the other game (not adopt me) , like my account literally got taken from me (most of us has had this happen too) I spent over 2 years on this game farming up to 1 million diamonds, which is not easy when ur a kid who didnt get robux and could just buy the diamonds (a lot more expensive than adopt me items) i had a really good inventory and i was over level 300-something. They took EVERYTHING. 😭 so i did the only thing a capable child such as myself could do!… i quit. And i also cried for a couple days but whatever.

I deleted my account and never looked back.

I waited 8 years… I wouldn’t play any games, I wouldn’t even allow myself to even have a Roblox account. And then finally after my friend begging for over 2 years i finally gave in and made a new acc. I went back into my old favorite game surprise surprise i had no clue what was going on. Starting at ground zero i had nothing I couldn’t understand the game looking different, where everything was how the diamond farming worked now and lots more.

It just became too complicated. So i went back into adopt me instead (keep in mind i missed all the pets coming out) but i got the hang of it pretty quickly, it was easy to understand especially as a new player and trades weren’t so hard to do i could give 2 ultras for a leg etc.

But now as i getting older i feel like maybe its time to grow up? Maybe say goodbye?

First of all trades are getting too complicated- because values have basically taken over (some things devs cant control 🤷‍♀️) i can no longer get a leg for 2 ultras. I cant even get a common without giving a couple legendarys! And some players are superrr rude about trades my little sister was playing yesterday and had a pretty good offer for one of her dp a nfr uni and the player saw what she was offering in her pfp still decided to trade her for their nfr uni and proceeded to say her offer was trash! Just cuz they didnt like the trade. My sister was very sad yesterday because of players who cant use the simple morals their parents taught them “if you don’t have anything nice to say, DONT SAY ANYTHING AT ALL”. Broke my heart as an older sister…

Getting pets and acorns during this event has also become too complicated. (Probably the devs effort to stop bots) but what they fail to remember if you make it harder for bots you also make it harder for the regular players, there is probably a better solution to this, idk what rn but im sure there is a better solution. This update has been out for sometime now and i havent even acquired a single ☝️ pet. First i need all these acorns and fish to get the tealwood monster, the skydiving minigame was acting up saying i missed rings (i didnt). And getting to gold fish/ rainbow fish you gotta move at the speed of lightning.

There is just too much going on. I have a life (that im trying to get back too) i cant spend all this time farming for acorns just to barely get one pet in hopes that in a couple years it will be worth something, or even just to enjoy the pet in general. There’s no way i can make a neon tealwood monster!

Because of how much is going on and how complicated this is all getting I don’t even thing newer players stand a chance at getting good at the game, or hop in every Saturday for an admin abuse, or even get pets/ DP’s they like cause no one will trade for the pets with no value.

…im also getting older and i gotta hop back into work soon, I don’t think ill be able to juggle both work and staying up to date with adopt me, maybe its time for me to get a new hobby? A slower hobby (recommendations are always welcome).

The only thing i probably still really like about this game is the ability to build cool houses (even tho people only trade for the cutecore grinding homes). But im too afraid on missing out of any newer cooler things that come out that i keep playing. But I’ve decided that maybe i need to grow up.

So this post is really my opinions for myself on moving on. Idk maybe I’ll build a house here and there and try to trade that 🤷‍♀️. Idk if im missing talking about anything cuz i know there was a lot more too this but it was nice while it lasted. Idk if anyone else is feeling like this too but hopefully this post helps! 😊

So I have decided to start my own YAYYY

I decided to start with something small at first cuz my booty check inv cant handle any op collections SO

First of all I just wanna say: This is no hate to them or anything.

My offer for nfr parrot got declined they said they were lf a 15+ OP

I just wanna know if that’s a normal op for a nfr parrot?

I thought my pets were in pretty good demand so the pets itself get OP’s and I was already over by 9+ ?

I might be a lil picky with certain things

I didn’t know that the nurse sharks were only gonna be there for a limited time and I just recently heard that they weren’t gonna have like a shop at the end of the event if I wanted to get more! And now I logged in today and all my coins were gone too 😭! I regret not grinding to get as many nurse sharks as possible they are so cute and I love sea animals! Does anyone have a spares they could give me?

So i used to play adopt me a lot back when there were no pets! And then once i heard they were updating with pets my small insignificant brain was to naive to PLAY AS AN ORIGIANL ADOPT ME PLAYER… and i decided to quit - not long after I got my acc stolen which made me hate Roblox altogether!

My friend had begged me for yearssss to make a new acc and start playing again. I finally gave in at one point and started playing again! Now it wasn’t too bad when I started people were still decent traders and not everyone was too focused on Val’s.

Well fast forwards maybe 3 months now Val’s has practically TAKEN OVER THE GAME!!!! Like I’m serious I used to be able to trade up to gain a dream pet that I liked and now I can’t even trade up megas?!??

Still because I liked the game I didn’t think too much of it! BUT THIS HAS GONE WAYYY TO FAR! I’ve also heard of people complaining about bots that farm and make Val’s skyrocket. People have said this before but it isn’t now till I’ve completely realized there right but Val’s and bots have completely took the enjoyment out of this game!

When I first started I loved jousting horses they were my dp! I got my first one a couple months back and was so excited and now I have been looking for undead jousting horse for months now. AND THEN ALL OF A SUDDED IT SKYROCKETS IN VALUE AND ILL NEVER OBTAIN IT NOW!

Now I can’t even finish my collection- I specifically liked this pet cuz I felt that it was like unique and not everyone wanted it! AND NOW SUDDENLY EVERYONE WANTS IT!!! I’m so tired of not being able to trade for decent pets anymore because Val’s are now like more important than the game itself!

Is there anything the devs can do about this value thing? Or are we just like stick out of luck at ever getting our dp’s anymore? This just make me so sad though because now values are running this game and no one can even properly enjoy it now because their too much trying to gain stupid value 😭.

Now I have to pray and hope the undead jousting horse goes way down in value or everyone totally forgets about it so that I even have a remote chance of finishing my collection! All’s it means is that I’ll have to wait a couple years or months however long it takes for my undead now. My question is, is when a pet randomly skyrockets like this what are the chances it will even go down? Will it stay stable at the value forever? 😞
