like here on silver price pushed down without retracing into any FVG, this is the 15 min with also no entry on any of the lowers, i knew looking at the higher time frames and reading bias price would dump like this, but I got no entry, is there just nothing i could do?
Timeframes:Daily,1hr,5min
I started off by looked at the daily time frame and getting my bias and I seen that the bearish candle was rejected so I waited till the rejection candle entered into the premium of the eq to look for longs, on the hourly I got a 2nd candle closure and a protected swing was created but I wanted the third candle to open and give a hourly cisd, once I got the cisd I went to the 5 min and stared looking for a poi to retrace in and then reject out of and enter off a confirmation candle, the problem was no point of interest were retraced into price just went up and hit my draw on liq, at that point I moved to the 3min and tried to force a entry from there I entered and got stoped out at the swing where the line is, and then priced moved to hit my second draw on liq again, i know I shouldn’t of forced the entry and should’ve just let this one go, or possibly entering off the rejection of the swing point after the fvg was filled and putting stop loss at the lows to the left going for the same draw on liq, or possibly instead of waiting for the hourly cisd the 5 min could’ve been enough and I could’ve entered off the pull back into the fvg targeting the first draw on liq and having stop below the swing point on the left, what do you think i could've done better, thanks.
this experience happened a long time ago and it was my first and last time projecting cuz of how it all went down some negatives ima leave out but i was reflecting on it today and i realized i didn't have any organs in the astral i was just pure spirit like a ghost, i had a body but it was ghost like i remember when i spoke it wasn't like talking out my mouth but consciously, imagine like the voice in your head now being the main voice you speak with naturally, almost telepathically like my thoughts where out loud, i'm just curious if this is how it is for everyone else, cuz this will open my mind to a new perspective if true.
Im referring to a AMT balance like in the photo, i think its easy to trade and imbalance but i wanna know how to trade in the balance, like longing after the liq sweep on the left after the three bearish down closed candles, or shorting after price touched the swing high on the left then rejected, im thinking maybe of support and resistance but im not sure how that works or if its any good, i personally trade ICT and orderflow.
with my strategy i usually look for strong candle closure and strong second candle closure to trade with into on the hourly, that gives me indication of who has control of order flow, from there I go to the ltf and look for setups on the 15 and then entries on the 5, today on mnq the hourly was consolidating in a order block and i was hoping to bounce off that and long, a few setups took form on the 15 but i didn't take them cuz my hourly wasn't how i liked it too be, curious to know how others trade in hourly consolidation.
i entered on a retrace into a fvg on the 15 and expected price to bounce off retrace and hit my draw on liq but i got disrespected and stopped out, what did i do wrong and how can i prevent this, this was on mnq in asia, hourly time frame was bullish and there was two other previous fvgs respected before hand so i thought this was vaild,thanks.
I just got done learning AMT(auction market theory) and I kinda don’t see much of a difference between it and AMD (accumulation, manipulation, distribution), maybe I need to learn more about AMT and I might be wrong, but to me it’s basically the same shit with different concepts, what do you think?
i seen on someones ig story this morning they made $1200 dollars, but i dont understand how you could of traded nq this morning, all i see is consolidation in a bearish market, im still learning and trying to get better, my strategyis entering on pull backs like FVGs in strong displacements targeting draws on liq like HH or LL, EQH or EQL, how do you trade this market?
