tl:dr: I quit the game because of my perception of the devs biases which has very little to do with gameplay and I don’t know if it’s just or not.

Firstly, I don’t mean to come across as hateful or rude , this is just truly how I feel. I would really appreciate if any other black members of the community could give me their perspective

I used to play this game a ton when it first came out. I eventually reached eternity mainly playing magik for multiple seasons, but I stopped playing for the past 6 months, not because of anything really gameplay related, but because of the culture that these devs have cultivated.

it’s not just the treatment of the black characters like moon girl and Dino being a duo for the past decade in the comics but her presence being shafted in game or none of the black characters getting a disco skin or all of the black characters being underwhelming tier wise ect ect

its mostly because of how much the white characters are worshipped or at least that what it seems like to me. For example, Emma frost NEVER looked like how she does in rivals in the comics. They very obviously increased her allure so that in turn, people will be more inclined to purchase her skins. She also dominated the game when she first came out for multiple seasons

Similar thing with Elsa, similar thing with Phoenix, gambit, daredevil, invis ect ect…

every white character (especially white female characters) that comes out is immediately S tier and is redesigned to look like a super model to sale skins. I mean cap just got a swimsuit skin with a 15 inch schlong. DD, gambit gets a swimsuit skin where they are the most chiseled men you have ever seen and they are all S tier with the highest pick rates.

I mean…really? I could understand if the devs were white…but they aren’t. I understand that the primary consumers of this game are likely white people so they will be catered to the most, but can another group have any sort of representation at all especially considering that’s the entire point of Marvel? There are tons of non white people that support the game

idk, maybe I’m overthinking but these thoughts turned me off from the game completely.

1. Women have significantly lower sex drives than men because they have significantly lower testosterone. So your sexual attraction to them is completely unrequited

2. Tons of studies of human history showed that most women passed down their genes while most men didn’t (Which is the case for most mammals) Turns out, low sex drive gives you control over the dating market like supply and demand

3. The vaginal canal has very few nerve endings, so penetration, the act that most mammals engage in to literally continue their species does nothing for women. Your sex organs that give you drive, make you feel good and are capable of reproduction has no gratifying effects for the group of people that you’re involuntarily attracted to

In short, being attracted to women is a curse because they are barely attracted to men. How is that not a curse?

I want women to imagine this: imagine if you had a sexuality that attracted you to men that is so powerful, that you work your entire life just to try to get one. Now imagine if men felt no desire towards the female form and felt no sexual gratification from it either.

I promise you women, you think you hate men now, you can’t even imagine how fucked your views would be if the roles were reversed. Be grateful that you can at least feel desired, have decent self esteem and feel seen in a world where your male counterparts are all miserable and invisible with desires that will never be fulfilled and attraction that will always be unrequited to no fault of their own

Tekken offers more counterplay for throws than most fighters because you have a window where you can see which arm is leading and break accordingly but god damn man, it feels like if you don’t have lightning fast reaction time, you are just cooked especially against a character like jack with a complete throw game

any advice? I’m struggling bad with this lol
