The distance between Saurashtra and South Gujarat is as big as North most states vs South most states, meaning Gujarat is Genetically the most diverse State.

This is an Indian state wise caste population weighted AASI% average. I have used the 2011 Census of India, recent caste censuses for some states, the 1931 Caste Census, recent political caste surveys, etc., to make approximate estimates of caste-wise population by state.

For the AASI% by caste, I have used academic results, as well as results uploaded and compiled on Reddit, X, Anthrogenica, etc. For the castes whose only Harrapa world results are available, I have used the Conversation equation AASI = 0.8 (S indian)+ 0.1(Baloch). I verified this equation for all the castes whose AASI, S indian and Baloch are known and it works well with almost perfect precision. For castes whose data are not available, I have made approximate estimates based on social, geographical, occupational, and phenotypic factors combined.
