Who takes ownership of utility locate tickets on your commercial projects?

I'm curious how the utility staking process is typically structured on commercial jobs involving underground electrical. Lately, I've seen a few situations where trenching for conduit was about to start, but there was a total breakdown in communication over who actually owned the 811 tickets. The sub thought the GC had already called it in, while the GC assumed the subcontractor executing the dig was managing it. We got lucky and avoided any utility strikes, but on one site we nearly started excavating on a ticket that was literally about to expire. Is there a strict industry standard for who pulls and tracks these, or is it completely dependent on contract specs and the PM's oversight?

On bigger jobs, does anyone else run into confusion over who’s actually handling the 811 tickets?

Kind of curious how this normally works on commercial projects involving underground electrical work. I've been on a couple jobs recently where trenching for conduit was coming up and there was a weird gray area around who was actually responsible for the 811 locate tickets. One side assumed the GC already handled it, while the GC seemed to think the sub pulling the trench should be managing it. Nothing bad happened, but on one project work almost started before someone realized the original ticket was about to expire. Is there a standard way this gets handled in practice, or does it mostly depend on the contract and whoever's PM is paying attention that week?

What’s the most practical use of AI for government contractors you’ve seen?

I'm less interested in futuristic use cases and more interested in things teams are using right now. Have you seen AI help with proposal reviews, compliance checks, opportunity tracking, or something else?

Biggest frustrations with government rfp software?

I’m building out our government wing and the tech is frustrating. Version control is a nightmare when five people are editing a proposal.

At what point should flying private start feeling realistic?

Not talking ownership. Just occasional charter use for personal, leisure or work trips. When did this stop feeling completely unrealistic for you?

Ai seo services for GMB posts + landing pages

Managing GMB for 14 local clients and I’m drowning. Google wants weekly posts, Q&A updates, and location pages that actually rank in the map pack.

My team writes them manually and we’re always behind. I’ve seen ai seoservices that promise programmatic GMB content at scale, but I’m worried it’ll look templated and hurt rankings.

Has anyone found a service that does AI-assisted GMB posts, local landing pages, and citation sync without triggering spam filters? We’re in home services + dental.

I’ve been doing my own billing for two years, but lately, the rejection reasons from insurance companies are getting more cryptic. I’m considering hiring help so I can reclaim my weekends.

What should I look for in a billing partner?

Yesterday was incredibly frustrating because I received three "emergency" tickets in a single hour, only to find that most weren't urgent at all. One was a simple sprinkler fix and another was just a homeowner trying to jump the 48-hour queue, while only the second call involved a legitimate gas line risk. I'm looking for a way to verify the actual urgency of these requests before I waste time and fuel driving to sites that don't truly require an immediate response.

I’ve been placing more implants lately, and I’m starting to realize that my current imaging setup isn't giving me the sharp detail I need for precise buccal-lingual positioning.

I’m looking to upgrade to a high-end x-ray digital sensor that can really highlight the bone density and the proximity to the nerve canal without a lot of noise.

Has anyone found a sensor that provides exceptional contrast specifically for surgical planning?

Customers email art files, pick shirt colors, and sizes in the email body. We retype everything into a job sheet and mistakes happen. I need an order form that collects art, mockup approval, sizes, and due date, then creates a job ticket, schedules on the press calendar, and tracks status.

When it’s printed, text the customer for pickup with a photo. If they change sizes last minute, update the ticket without remaking it. We’re a small shop and can’t afford Printavo.

Practicing in Alberta and fed up with US-based dental sensors companies. When our unit went down last winter, “expedited shipping” still took 6 business days to cross the border and we got hit with customs fees. Phone support was only open 9-5 EST, which is 7am for us.

We lost a week of hygiene production. Are there any dental sensors brands with real Canadian warehouses or support hours that work for PST/MST? I can’t risk that downtime again during recall season.
