A comission that came to me in a dream. Dream: "I arrived back at the dorm, was unpacking my things, and unexpectedly found a letter in one of my bags. It contained several papers. The letter was written by a girl who had commissioned a drawing for her mother's birthday - a drawing of her cat from childhood. Her mother loved to pick him up and carry it along the street. This girl added sketches of her mother holding the cat, their house room, herself as a child. The letter also contained a lot of interesting text, including a poem. Then dream showed me a backstory (looked like an ai animation): the story was told from the perspective of one of the brother. They had a large family, brothers and sisters. As children, some of the children paid attention to things with bright colors, while others focused on black and white. After a while, the family quarreled more and more, everyone went their separate ways, and the house was left to the narrator. Then it turned out that I was the brother writing this backstory." While I was making the painting, I realized that it was also about homesickness.
