Coming back from 2013

Why do you use the 20 year old game argument?
I find it incredibly stupid when people argue that just because the game is 20 years old, everyone should know how to play it perfectly. I get that all the information is easily accessible in forums and guides, but that doesn't mean every player is going to know everything or be good at the game. It’s not as if every player has been playing it for 20 years, either. It’s like asking about games like Mega Man or Donkey Kong—those are over 20 years old too, yet not everyone who plays them knows everything or will become the best player.

Question about midsummer event next year
Will the quests we've already completed—honoring and extinguishing the flame—remain marked as complete next year? And how will that work with WOTLK achievements? Asking because I lost 600+ Burning Blossoms and forgot to buy toy :( also I missed 2 flames in badlands.
