Luckily for me I have access to a psychiatrist so I’ve recently been upping the dosage of my fluoxetine, 10mg per week from 30mg up to 60mg.

The three weeks in general I’ve felt pretty okay, I’m far from fixed but I’m going to work daily and getting on with life despite the anxiety that comes with my OCD which is more than I was doing beforehand.

I just wondered, does anyone have experience from a private psychiatrist that allowed them to stay on the same dosage even after stopping psychiatric care with them? Like will the private prescription he gives me be able to be transferred over to the GP and then I can continue on this dose for good?

I only started on 60mg today and I’m due to see him again on Wednesday, today’s probably been my most anxious day in the last 3 weeks, so I think the early side effects are now kicking in sadly, which I expected.

We’ve had our two boys for a week now and just had to take one to the vet for a hour or so as he has been limping pretty badly.

The vet said no major damage and he’s had an injected painkiller which is good news.

However our other boy is now hissing at him, I understand this is probably due to the smell. It’s not a loud or long hiss, no puffing up and no swiping or anything. Just a short warning hiss.

They’re currently in an open plan room which is quite large and they’re tolerating eachother although not getting too close. They’re sleeping about Two feet away from eachother right now.

Do we need to separate them and reintroduce slowly or should we just let them naturally work it out?

I’m a walking golfer, yet to use a cart. At the moment I have 11 clubs in the bag (will be going up to 14 soon), and I’m using a 14 way Srixon but I’m having issues as the dividers aren’t full length meaning it’s a pain getting the clubs in and out the bag at the moment.

Whats a bag I can get that’s relatively light weight, rain cover included, good storage and can comfortably hold a full set of clubs that isn’t ridiculously expensive. Happy to go second hand too!

have recently picked up the tour 360 24s second hand although they’re comfy I have started to get blisters on the heel after playing 9 holes, only 3 times.

I want a pair of spikeless shoes I can wear while driving, in the clubhouse and on the course.

I’m a huge fan of the FJ Traditions, FJ Premieres, adidas mc70s and Puma Avants but would they look odd with shorts? as we’re coming into summer I want something that looks great with both shorts and trousers. I’m also not opposed to the pro SL as I think the 2026 white one looks great.

What’s everyone’s recommendation? Even better if there’s common sales on in the Uk for them currently?

However the main thing I’m worried about is comfort for long walks over 18 holes, I always walk and I’ll always be carrying my clubs too.

I’m really not a fan of the ECCOs, I know this’ll be a recommendation but I just don’t like the shape of them.

Also does anyone know where’s best to try on a big range of golf shoes before buying? I live in South east London so preferably near there or central near Victoria as it’s where I work.
