Last minute financial advice

I’ve posted in here before but financial plan once I enlist has changed/ new updates to my contract. Currently In DEP going in as an e4 in the Air Force . Current plan is to max out my IRA (still working on my etf allocations o will update this post once I figure them out). What I’m really looking for is a ref with international exposure so I can cover the market that the I find doesn’t.

TSP contributions will be 22% with the following allocation. 65% C 20% S 15% I . I plan on using the VA home loan on a multi family property if it’s feasible in my area. My paycheck will be going into Fidelity (SPAXX) earning interest.

I’m just looking for as much advice as possible. I feel like everyone has it figured out when they enlist and I feel behind.

Resume Wording

So I provisionally passed the CISSP to waist a DoD requirement. Missing a few months of experience to officially claim the title CISSP. How do I word my resume to get past ATS without going against ISC2 rules? I was thinking of saying “ISC2 Associate CISSP”. I’m open to suggestions

Provisionally passed

As the title suggests I provisionally padded the CISSP at question 150. It’s been one hell of a week. First attempt Monday I was late because of work and had to reschedule my exam for Thursday. In Thursday my car experienced troubles a mile away from the testing site and I had to run a mile to the testing center leaving my car to get there. Ended up paying $382 to get it out of the tow yard. Shout out to Thor Peterson, Pete Zerger and Andrew Ramydal .

Hidden Gems

What prompted me to post this is that I heard that USAA and Navy fed don’t have the best rates and there are better alternatives. For reference I have Cap 1 and Fidelity as my HYSA’s. As someone in DEP currently and trying to plan my transition to the military what are some hidden gems and lesser known products that I should know about? (Insurance, banks, active duty perks )

Ira Providers

For the people in active duty does anyone use robinhood as their IRA Account provider? I’m thinking of switching from Fidelity to Robinhood to get the 3% match on my Ira. Does anyone have a similar setup?

So I recently submitted a clearance request (whatever the form to start the process is), and recently found out that my student loans have been in default while I was actively enrolled. Long story short I’m in the process of getting them out and was wondering if this would affect my clearance?
